If you know anything about me, you know one of my favorite bands is Fetchin Bones - I have been a fan since the late 80’s when Carol asked if I wanted to come along on a road trip to Rockafellas in Columbia to see a show. She told me the name of the band and I was convinced I was going to see Fishbone. It was one of the most energetic, fabulous shows I’ve ever seen. That night made me a forever fan. The lead singer (Hope Nicholls) owns this rad boutique in Charlotte called Boris+Natasha and it was the first destination I put in my GPS as I left Raleigh this morning. I was crossing my fingers the entire way that Hope would be at the store. SHE WAS and of course I tried hard not to be a weird fan girl, but I can’t help myself. Hope told me that her current band (It’s Snakes) would be playing tonight at a local pub so after the concert I headed over there and was happy to catch the last half of their set. ✨Two of the most important musicians/bands in my life in one day✨
