Without further ado: my 2024 recap!

Of course, I had low points happen in 2024—that’s what happens in a year—but my highs totally outweigh any of that for me.

Here’s some 2024 highlights that I didn’t mention in the video:
⭐️ I did my first prom client.
⭐️ I worked on my first fashion shoot with @nice.cr3 for @spacekittyarts.
⭐️ I worked on my first ad campaign as a makeup artist.
⭐️ I changed the direction of my content.
⭐️ I judged a debate tournament.
⭐️ I attended Liner + Lashes with Lauren masterclass, hosted by @raggedyroyal.
⭐️ I finally got my headshots taken by @kiyashaco.
⭐️ I got to see @amaarae with my best friend Zaria.
⭐️ I got to see @ravynlenae with my good homie @exoplanetist.

Dear 2024,

You kicked ass 😂😂. Every time I felt like I’ve come to know my self God held my hand and told me “not really sweetheart.” I moved off of faith. Following one voice and the opportunities that came were overwhelming. So overwhelming in fact a lot of times I felt like I didn’t qualify or deserved some of them, but God Did.

Imposter syndrome is a b*tch.

Towards the end the year with all these amazing things I accomplished I fell into a pool of despair. Questions about if I’m really doing what I’m meant to do. Applying for positions only to get turned down. I gave too much of myself away.

This moment only told me that something big was coming for me and idk what it was but I had to go through that and finally find light to get prepared for it so in 2025 I pray my presence is felt.

2024 thank you for that.

Don’t ask me how long I took to edit this. Just know that I put my backbone into this. I’m really out here leveling up my content, and it shows!

Was this long overdue, Sydney Committee? Perhaps. But long overdue is better than keeping it in my drafts—that’s for sure!

As I take you on a Sydventure in this vlog, I want to take you on a journey of gratitude for a moment.

I’m not only grateful for those of you who’ve stuck around during my sporadic hiatuses as I lay low and work hard, but I’m also grateful for those of you who’ve taken a chance on me by providing an opportunity, being open to working with me, or just providing me with your wisdom.
