I’M GOING TO BE AT THE BRISBANE ILLUSTRATION FAIR!!! 💖✨

This is honestly so exciting. It’s going to be my very first art fair in Australia 🇦🇺 and I really hope it’s the first of many.

I’ll be there on Saturday, July 18 from 10:00 AM at John Reid Pavilion.

Come say hi to this cosmic migrant artist, browse my stickers, grab some goodies, and share a few mates with me. ✨🧉 I’d love to see you there!

A huge thank you to @brisbaneillustrationfair for giving me this opportunity 💫

“Recently, I’ve been prouder of my illustrations than my design projects, because in my illustrations I’m pouring everything I feel these days living in Australia, so far from my home.

And you know, this hasn’t been easy, I was really stressed about emigrating and having so many doors closed to us because of our visa or because we’re from somewhere else.. But illustration has been my refuge. it’s that place where nothing and no one can hurt me, and where I truly lose track of time.

These last few days, I said, ‘f*ck everything, I came into this world to create, so I’m going to start drawing!’ And I landed a client in Sydney!

So, what I’d like to share with the 0&0 community is that, even though the environment for designers and illustrators may not be ideal, let’s not forget our creative power. Let’s not let anything or anyone dim our spark, because we are the ones who give value to what we do through mutual support. There are truly people in the world willing to appreciate our work and pay for it; many people want to bring their ideas to life but don’t have our skills. It’s through collaboration and our love for what we do that new possibilities arise.”
