your digital watercolor deserves good paper, too. ♡ 🎨

sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference, and paper texture is one of my favorite ways to give procreate paintings that soft, imperfect, traditional watercolor feel.

so i put together a little freebie for you!

inside you’ll find:
♡ 3 watercolor paper textures
♡ a quick start guide for procreate
♡ a little extra texture for your next creative project

completely free, just because. 🤍

💌 comment “TEXTURE” and i’ll send the download straight to your dms!

save this for your next watercolor painting session. ♡

your watercolor brushes might not be the problem. 👀🎨

ever wonder why your digital watercolor still looks a little too… digital?

sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest difference.

real watercolor interacts with the texture of the paper, creating those soft, imperfect details we all love. adding a paper texture in procreate can help bring some of that same character to your digital paintings.

here’s a little before & after using my watercolor watermelon. 🍉

want to try it yourself? ♡

i put together 3 of my favorite watercolor paper textures + a quick start guide, completely free!

💌 comment “TEXTURE” and i’ll send them straight to your dms.

would you believe this watercolor lily was painted entirely in procreate? 🌸

no traditional paints. no real watercolor paper. just digital watercolor brushes, a textured canvas, and a little patience.

and the best part? you can try it for free. ♡

i’m sharing my watercolor brush set, paper texture, AND the lily sketch so you can paint your own version.

🌷 comment “flower” and i’ll send you the free collection!

turning this little corner of the internet into my own art diary. messy sketches, procreate watercolor experiments, and whatever else i feel like creating. no pressure to make everything perform. just making art because i love it. 🤎

a little blueberry study using my dead pretty watercolor brushes 🫐

soft washes, imperfect edges & all those little pigment details that make digital watercolor feel like the real thing.

painted entirely in procreate using dead pretty watercolor by fins & fiction.

brushes are linked in my bio ♡

watercolor, but make it a little grungy. 🖤

painting in procreate with my dead pretty watercolor brushes because digital art deserves all the wet edges, grainy pigment, and imperfect textures of traditional watercolor.

no water, no cleanup, just a whole lot of texture. 😭

brushes: dead pretty | fins & fiction design co.
