We had a full house of people at FloFo this week which included @ffloral.finesse 🌷 We love when she’s back in town and comes to visit us!

Two weeks full of sunshine, the lake, lots of smiles & giggles, so many trips to zorbaz, and endless quality time!! My heart is so full!

We wanted to get creative with this tent entryway for @givingtreeacres - a non profit farm whose mission is to provide healthy, locally grown food to low income families in Texas.

Instead of florals, we leaned into fresh vegetables intertwined into the greenery to create a lush installation with pops of orange and pink 🥕🫜🌱

I never wanted a wedding. But after we got engaged, Sam reminded me all it took to get here and that we deserved it. So we planned a wedding in 4 months and it was the best day of my life. Reminiscing on some details I never want to forget!!!!

1. My bouquet was hand made and sent overnight by a dear friend of mine that I met during my summers in Fargo, ND. I held the most beautiful calla lillies, my brother & my dad in my hand that day.

2. My Uncle ordained our wedding incorporating our unique story and spoke with SUCH profound wisdom and love. He gifted us this notebook with the entire ceremony, a place to re-write our vows, and words of encouragement from our friends and family. 🥹

3. My ring belonged to my Gigi, my great grandmother and now symbolizes our love + marriage. But, it also represents her. Gigi was a woman of fierce loyalty and God-sourced wisdom. It is an honor and a hope to fulfill much like she did as a woman, a wife, a mother, and a leader.

4. Getting ready with my nieces in the room and their passing of the rings during the ceremony was perfect. These girls give me a spark of life. They’re such a deep part of my ‘why’ in this life. Just like they did for their Daddy. ❤️‍🩹

5. A first look and walking down the aisle with my little brothers. They are out-worldly special to me. We laughed and cried and grieved and took it all in together. 🥹

6. Our friends + fam traveled far n wide with minimal notice to join us in celebrating and literally tore UP the dance floor with us all night. Epic.

7. The small Amish farm down the road sold me flowers last minute and our family made it HAPPEN 🌼💐

8. Lastly and most importantly, marrying the most admirable man I know. My best decision ever. ♥️
