I started cycling after my HIV+ diagnosis in 2020, at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Getting on my bike now is a reminder of my mental and physical strength, and a commitment to preserving it.

I joined @team.animal.cycling and @cycleforthecause to keep that promise to myself and to raise funds for the @lgbtcenter, established during the AIDS crisis to provide a safe and affirming place for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers & deliver services that empower people to lead healthy, successful lives.

I have a little over $2000 left to raise before September 25, so please consider making a donation at the link in my bio. 🤍

Update: no longer riding, but you can still support team animal! ❤️

Whew! This weekend marked one year of living with HIV. My levels are low and spirit high, the only thing that keeps me up at night is healthcare and access to it… legislation like the big beautiful bill, seek to deny us the therapy’s we need, even with a “good” job… However those challenges are not exclusive to the poz community. They affect all of us who rely on services and supply chains to live the happy and healthy lives we deserve. With the Trans and Poz community’s on the frontlines of violent systems, we’re going to see more and more reliance on non-profit community driven organizations to keep us safe. We’re in this together, and @cycleforthecause expanded its mission to support all aspects of queer healthcare, allocating resources and visibility to our Trans brothers and sisters. This year we ride for all of us. Grateful to have the privilege to do it. Grateful to be in this body. Grateful to ride for my favorite place in Brooklyn, with a truly ICONIC team.

Join us @animal.nyc tomorrow as we kick off the 2026 cycling season, we got jocks and socks! 🍑🦶🏽

Thank you! 😘
