Multipurpose Assistant – Furniture Production & Installation | Machine Shop

Our Machine Shop students Mr. Sagar, Mr. Subhash Yadav, Mr. Ravi Kumar, Mr. Dev and Mr. Abhishek Sharma showcased their creativity and practical skills by designing and manufacturing their own furniture products. From planning to execution, they transformed their ideas into finished products through hands-on learning.

Remember, making a product is not difficult when you have a clear plan!

You just need to understand:

What to make: Clear product design and planning.
Materials required: Selection of the right materials.
Construction process: Understanding each step of manufacturing.
Tools & Machines: Choosing the right tools and machines for the job.
Execution: Turning your ideas into reality through practical skills.

At Decora × FFSC Skill Academy, Sun Foundation, we believe in learning by doing, where students gain real-world experience, develop problem-solving skills and turn their creativity into practical products.

Congratulations to Mr. Sagar, Mr. Subhash Yadav, Mr. Ravi Kumar, Mr. Dev and Mr. Abhishek Sharma for their creativity, hard work and practical achievements!

Decora × FFSC Skill Academy, Sun Foundation

Our Furniture Design students had an enriching industrial visit to the manufacturing unit of Decora Kitchen Interiors Pvt. Ltd., Jhajjar, Haryana, where they explored the complete furniture manufacturing process—from raw material selection and warehousing to final assembly.

Students gained practical exposure to:

🔹 Core Material Selection & Warehousing
🔹 Hot Press & Cold Press Machines
🔹 Panel Saw & Beam Saw
🔹 Edge Banding & Multiboring
🔹 CNC Router & Membrane Pressing
🔹 Aluminium Cutting & Processing
🔹 Painting, Finishing & Final Assembly

The entire process was explained in detail by Mr. Jitender Sharma, Factory Manager, giving students valuable insights into real-world production and machine operations.

✨ One of the biggest learning experiences was witnessing the highly organised manufacturing system. The factory follows a smooth, systematic workflow supported by modern technology, reducing unnecessary physical workload and ensuring that every task is carried out according to proper guidelines and processes.

Excellent workplace organisation and housekeeping—materials were systematically placed, work areas were kept clear, and not a single panel was kept in the passage area, ensuring smooth movement and a safe working environment.

🙏 Special thanks to Mr. Saurabh Jain, Managing Director, Decora Kitchen Interiors Pvt. Ltd., for providing our students with this valuable industry exposure, and to Mr. Jitender Sharma for his detailed guidance and valuable time.

🎯 Learning beyond the classroom and experiencing industry practices firsthand!
