The Cupcake Sweater by Tin Can Knits has been at the top of my list!!

We now have Fiberstory in Fave Sock and Core DK so it was easy to find the perfect combo for this gift knit!

Fave Sock variegated (Funsies) held double for the frosting and Core DK (Razz) for the body.

I like to get matchy with accessories when I start a new project, don’t you?

This will be going with me to NYC tomorrow with my Norma…currently sleeveless, yikes!

Are you casting on something new or finishing something?

We now carry Fiberstory Core DK in both full and mini skeins! These beautiful colorways come to us from Sarah in Michigan. They are hand-dyed beauties of DK-weight squishy soft superwash merino. The fiber is round and has wonderful stitch definition. Each full skein has 231 yards.

With the addition of minis in a generous 46 yards, colorwork becomes more afforadable! There are so many beautiful colorwork sweaters and accessories! It's a great time to get started on Holiday gifts! Mittens, hats, and cowls are always a sure bet.

Oh, and if you love knitting Jamie Lomax' doodles, it's a perfect yarn to use with Doodle decks!

We couldn't be more thrilled to work with Sarah! She's such a talented dyer and a joy to work with, always full of positive energy. When you work with her beautiful yarn, just know you're holding something that was made with that kind of energy. You'll feel it! 💕

I haven't been a very good sock mom. I've left my one completed sock without it's twin for months now. I've just been too emotionally involved with all my summer tee projects.

So, I had a little chat with my one sock and said my apologies (we're good now) and got to work on the other foot and I'm almost done! I forget how quickly a sock goes once you get going.

All I have left is the kitchener stitch on the toe! Thank goodness for my little cheat sheet from @katrinkles_knitting_jewelry. I always need a quick refresher for the setup and then I'm good to go.

Now to wait until it gets cold enough to actually wear socks! At least they are pretty to look at. I'll just display them in my house like art work until the temperature drops.

This Cupcake (@tincanknits) knit up by @yarnsembles is perfection!

When our lovely client Laura, in NYC, reached out for ideas for a superwash combo to make a baby gift and sent this pattern I was so excited. I have been looking at that same pattern as a gift!

The winning combination is…
Fiberstory Fave in Funsies held double
LITLG DK Twist in Neptune

It’s so fun!
Laura has some mad knitting skills!

Laura and I have great “virtual shopping sessions” and chats. We love to see her beautiful projects on the needles.
Looking forward to meeting in person in Rhinebeck!

Check back for her progress and she ordered a 2nd combo…can’t wait!

Have you ordered from us?
Please tag us with your photos, we would love to see!

Laura added super cute sequins, Ricco Design Creative Make it Blumchen to the “frosting” from @brooklyngeneralstore
