I’ve been looking forward to the @fibreandforge open farm day since the moment we left last year 🐑💛

it was, as I expected, even lovelier than last year (which I didn’t really know was possible, tbh). Ran into so many friends, chatted & snacked & pet sheep & picked a pumpkin & just generally had the most wonderful autumn day. big love to my angel @poetica.knitting for being a crazy wool lady with me!

Taking a break from support spindling. I have to say this ShetlandxGotlandxBFL from @fibreandforge has got to be one of the softest fleeces I’ve picked so far. My goodness it is gorgeous😍😍 and the colour!!

Aprils Shop Update is done and dusted 🌺 And while I love every blend and fibre pairing we made this month, they pale in comparison to my true pairings love: chips with cheap wine 🙌🏻 I have SO much experience and knowledge in this very important area and is anyone gonna put me on a podcast for it? No. And that’s a tragedy.

I’m leaving a few of my fav combos in the comments and I know there have to be other connoisseurs out there. If that’s you, sharing is caring, let’s start a club 👯‍♀️

This merlot fiber is everything I could have ever asked for except I wish I had more 😂! This was such a fun spin!! Thank you @mellyknits for making such a beautiful waitlist advent the candle is from @fibreandforge called comfort and it is making my house smell like someone is baking cookies. 💕 If you want to hear more about it she made a lore video (day 13) that talks all about it and the sheeps and the process of making the batts. This is Day 6 all spun using my support spindle then turned into a 2 ply yarn. This was my 1st experience with a Columbia x Correidale the Alpaca and the Tussah and Sari silk blended in gives it such a nice shine and soft squishy warmth. I am in love. @spindlebingo #supportspindle #spindlespinning

teardrop from @fibreandforge has been all spun and plied ✨🕯️ it turned out to be my dream marly grey colour and I’m considering pairing it for some colourwork with the Shetland/Gotland i spun also from Beatriz!

this shetland x BFL from Beatriz’s flock was so fun to process and spin, I definitely want more fleece from fibre and forge one day!! 🫶🏼
