Golden light, endless greens, and a couple who made every moment feel effortless. 🤍

Julia + Brandon’s wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club was the perfect mix of elegance and ease. The most beautiful sunny day, timeless white and green details, and so much genuine joy from beginning to end.

These two were playful, completely present, and down for every creative idea I threw their way which made creating these portraits so much fun. A day that felt just as beautiful as it looked. ✨

The Brisket Board Sold at Its First Show! 🔥

Well, that didn’t take long! The Brisket Board found a new home at its very first show, so naturally, we had to go shopping. And not just any shopping… a trip to Boards and Beams for some BIG lumber.

Big boards require big lumber, and we didn’t exactly come home empty-handed. We picked up a bunch of 2” thick Maple and Cherry. Because apparently, we’ve decided regular-sized cutting boards just aren’t enough of a challenge. 😂

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be turning these slabs into some seriously BIG cutting boards. Think substantial, functional, and built to handle whatever you throw at them.

Stay tuned! There’s a lot of sawdust in our future…

Big lumber. Big boards. Big plans. 🪵🔨

As always, if you see something you like, say something… before someone else beats you to it! 😏

Next show: Sunday November 8 at the Metuchen Elks Lodge.

There’s something about a long table that I will always love. 🤍

It gives us room to layer—to play with candlelight, different heights, the textures of the vessels, and flowers that move throughout the design. Each element adds depth, creating a tablescape that draws your eye down the table and gives you something beautiful to discover from every seat.

This is one of my favorite things to design, and layering is such a signature of my work. I’m never going to place one arrangement in the middle and call it finished. I want the entire table to feel like a complete composition, with thoughtful details, movement, and visual interest from end to end.

But what I love most is how it brings people together. That long, beautiful focal table creates such an intimate dinner party feeling—even in the middle of a big wedding. A place to settle in, lean closer, share stories, and linger a little longer.

That’s the feeling I’m always designing for. ✨

One centerpiece style for an entire room? I always love a little more variety. ✨

For me, the beauty is in the layers—the different heights, textures, and details that make your eye wander throughout the space.

Some tables lean into candlelight, creating that soft, glowing atmosphere that feels more intimate as the evening unfolds. Others bring a larger floral statement, making an impact from the moment guests walk into the room. Thoughtfully balancing those elements is what brings the whole design together.

This wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow is one of my favorite examples. We created four different centerpiece styles, each with its own presence, all connected by the same floral palette and overall vision.

There was something beautiful to catch your eye in every direction—and something new to notice throughout the night. 🤍

Staircases used to intimidate me. The scale, the sweeping flowers, the feeling of filling such a grand space—it was hard to know where to begin. 🤍

What helped us was learning to break that big picture into smaller pieces.

For this recent staircase at Fiddler’s Elbow in Bedminster, New Jersey, we created each floral piece individually, varying the sizes and shapes before bringing them together on the stairs. Layer by layer, those smaller arrangements became one sweeping design.

That variation is what gives the flowers movement. Fuller moments, softer edges, a little breathing room—all working together so the design feels like it belongs in the space.

I never want our flowers to feel stiff or forced into place. I want your eye to travel with them, following the staircase through all those beautiful layers.

A very quick glimpse of a design built one thoughtful piece at a time. ✨
