POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The past 6 days have been a blur! We lit out for Nashville on Monday for @americanafest , played a couple very cool showcases (@oliviamgmt and @shcmusictribe East Coast Social Club) and a jam (@fiddlestar 🙏!), then hauled it back to NY for a private event Saturday afternoon. We crossed 8 states and a dozen interstates: 84, 81, 40, 24, 65, 264, 71, 271, 90, 86, 88, and of course 87. See you this week in NY for album release shows! #touringmusician #newmusic #driving #cornfields #altcountry

Back in 2024, Brittany and Natalie Haas did something no one’s ever done…

They sight-read all 176 original fiddle tunes by John Hartford that are included in the Mammoth Collection Book 😱

They had some of their friends and Nashville’s finest musicians help them out too🥰

We’ve released the footage from this very special extravaganza on the official John Hartford YouTube channel. Check it out at the link in bio ➡️ “Mammoth Marathon” 🎻

Barbara Martin Stephens died. Dolly died. I was so lucky to be in Nashville for this gathering. We cried. We laughed. We solved all the problems.

We are the John Hartford Fiddle Tune Project and this is our version of Julia Belle Swain.

We recorded two albums of John’s music that consist mostly of fiddle tunes that John never got to share with the world! It’s our goal to get these songs into the hearts of as many people as possible, bring people together, and keep John’s legacy alive and relevant.

Listen to The John Hartford Fiddle Tune Project Volume 1 and 2 on vinyl, CD, or streaming!

Idaho Bluegrass Camp 2026
We are so blessed to have this camp here in Idaho. We were overwhelmed by the amount of talent, knowledge, and generosity of our instructors this year. Thank you so much for taking the time to mentor us in this incredible traditional music.
All of us were able to help as Leaders in the band scramble. Eliza was invited to be a junior instructor this year. Thank you @kimberludiker for putting on the best bluegrass camp EVER! Fiddle Express #mandolin #bluegrass #guitar #idahobluegrassassociation #fiddle
