Happy birthday, AnneMarie!! ❤️

My little girl is 27 today. HOW?! So proud of this smart, kind, observant, hilarious kid who leads with her heart, has always known what she wants and has been the family jokester from day one. And somehow, that silly little sweet kid is now this amazing grown woman.

Happiest of birthdays today, beautiful girl. I can’t wait to see where this next year takes you. May it be your best one yet! ❤️🥂

When the guests are ordering a bottle of ouzo to share on the very first night you know it’s a fun group! 😉

Our time in Athens was brief (because, you know, we have SO much more to see) but we grabbed what we could: a fantastic private street art and street food walking tour (chocolate-covered loukoumades, anyone? YUM), and then an evening tour of the Acropolis which allowed us the most stunning sunset views ever. Throw in a little Greek dancing and a couple sips of that ouzo, and our week together is definitely off to a good start! 🇬🇷

My heart is FULL!! 💙💙💙

Night One of our 2025 TNN Greece Tour is now behind us. My 13 (yes, 13!) guests have all arrived and made fast friends with each other - splitting bottles of wine and hardly stopping the excited chatter to eat bites of their delicious family-style Greek dishes as they get acquainted.

Grateful much? More than I can even express. Thinking about how it’s possible for me to be doing this: leading these incredible adventurous fun-loving people around the country that I love most. Yes, I am absolutely pinching myself. And yes, my voice may have cracked a bit during my big welcome speech again this year 🥰

Sure, it’s taken tons of blood, sweat and tears. Endless research, hard work, loss of sleep, and belief in myself. But I would never, EVER be here if it weren’t for two amazing souls, @gokellylewis and @erica.hackman, who taught me a gazillion things and unwaveringly believed in me. You two got me this far, and I will always be so very appreciative. To you both, I make a toast with my ouzo :)

And now… off to climb the Acropolis! 🇬🇷

“Winter” in Australia? Definitely not the winter I was bracing for 😂 So of course while here we had to get in some serious water time: two beach days (Gold Coast AND Sunshine Coast!), plus we rented a @goboatbrisbane and explored the river (one of us was a much more focused captain - hint: she’s the younger one). Now that’s how you do winter 😉

Totally pinching myself! 🥰 AnneMarie found us this incredibly awesomely quirky hipcamp overnight stay waaaay out in the hinterlands and the trip was everything we could have dreamed of. We rented a car and drove all through the countryside, through sugarcane fields, and along the Gold Coast. The host was so nice (“G’day ladies!”) and showed us every painstaking detail that had been taken (he drove the bus up that hill himself!) and we spent our time there soaking in the insane views, making and enjoying delicious charcuterie and breakfast snackies (using fresh garden herbs), playing lots of board games, and petting all the family cows. Ridiculousness! 🌴🐮 🚌
