AD 👅 This January I am committed to giving up alcohol. 🍺🍾🍸🥃🥂🍷I want to start the New Year with a bang, and for me that means being really productive. I can only achieve my goals and aspirations when I am focused and in order to achieve my maximum potential I need to treat my body with the love and respect it deserves. In the past alcohol has had a detrimental affect on both my mental and physical wellbeing, so I am aiming to cut back in 2019 - but first I would like to test my willpower by abstaining for ONE WHOLE MONTH. In the past when I’ve given up drinking for a sustained period of time I have noticed big changes in my cognitive function 🧠 and I’ve also noticed a big difference to my waistline due to the decrease in sugar intake 🥊. I am eager to share my message with YOU for two reasons. 1. Because I know you guys will keep me on the straight and narrow - now that I’ve shared my mission I’m less likely to quit quitting 🤭, and 2. Because I want to encourage you to think about what positive changes you can make to your life, whether it’s going to the gym an extra day a week or quitting smoking 🚬 . I urge you to consider it! I can’t emphasise enough the power that we have to influence our own health and our futures🧚🏼‍♀️. @NHSmillion @NHSEnglandLdn
