North Grand is STILL moving… and now you can see the vision coming to life. 🌳🎨

Last time you saw me on Grand, it didn’t look like this!

Construction on the Brickline Greenway on North Grand continues, and a new piece of public art has officially joined the landscape.

🎨 A sculpture by internationally renowned Nigerian-British artist Yinka Shonibare is now on display—selected by community members and loaned, installed and cared for by the Gateway Foundation.

And this is just the beginning.

22 St. Louis-based artists are creating artwork for the greenway, including Brock Seals, Cbabi Bayoc, Ayanna Thompson-Washington, Marquis Terrell and many more.

But while we celebrate the progress, we can’t forget the people already here.

🍽️ The restaurants are still open.
🛍️ The businesses are still open.
🏘️ The community is still here.

So while construction continues, PULL UP and support the businesses along North Grand. I had to practice what I preach and grab me some Mother’s Fish! 😂🐟

And come next spring, we’ll be looking at a more connected North Grand with the Brickline Greenway open and ready for the community.

The vision is becoming visible, St. Lou. Keep showing up. 🌳

2 years and 5 days ago I quit smoking cigarettes.

Everything immediately became better.

Food tasted like flavor again 🤌

I could have a conversation AND walk at the same time 🥳

I dropped 70lbs in 6 months and have kept it off since 💅

Its either "One Day or Day One."

Pick yours 💪🤙
