Crochet.... Where do I start ?
I went on a mission to check out your creations.

One jumped out at me...
A little cutie of an Octopus.
(Actually... ALL of them were little cuties 😍)

I had nothing that resembled crochet / stitching patterns or even an octopus... But I could create something with the colour you used.
So that was set as my base...
A beautiful soft but vibrant, pastel green.

For the design, I had to jump out of the box & get creative...
I used some pretteeee swirls & curls stickers, to kinda resemble some pretteee embroidery stitches !
They also had some very pale green & pink accents within them, so perfect for this set.

Frustratingly, my swirls & curls were not so perfect after all...

(Once I EVENTUALLY sussed which were going where, with some cropping & additional parts to be added !)

...They would NOT come off the backing very easily, no matter how gentle I was, the self adhesive backing was pulling off from the sticker itself !!!!

Luckily I didn't have too many casualties & using some foil transfer gel "Foil Mate" from @glitterplanetuk & a clear stamper, I managed to rescue them.... Phew !
💅🏻

✨Happy Birthday Fiona, so sorry they are belated wishes but I hope you have had the most fabulous birthday week, filled with ALL of your favourite things, doing what you want to do & with all, that you love. ✨

💕 Don't forget to check out your special # below, to see all the other fab creations, from all those that joined in, to wish you a very Happy Birthday 💕

Happy birthday to Fiona @fificrossnails 🎈🩷🧶

Hope you'll have an amazing bday! We were asked to create something crochet like in honour of your bday! As you're not only talented with nails, but also crochet. 🧶 I decided for a pink (in my mind) crochet like pattern and then stamped yarns with crowns. A cute teddy bear and the text "crochet queen", even though the text didn't stamp perfectly readable. 🧶👑

➡️ Swipe to see the collage and check out #FionasCrochetBday to see all individual posts ➡️

💞Thank you Caroline @tinkerbell1970s Gem @_nailgems_ for organising this. 💞

Polishes used:
🩷 @w7makeupuk - Pinkish
🩷 Bornprettystore stamping polish in pink
🖤 Zjoy stamping polish in black
🔲 Uprettygo - JR-385
🔲 Happy - 14 (knitting pattern)
🔲 No name AliExpress stamping plate

🎈🎂Happy Birthday Fiona! 🥳🎈 @fificrossnails 🩷 I hope you enjoy this mock crochet look I have done for you 🧶 Have an amazing birthday! 🎂💜

I did a purple-green gradient base with a very subtle crochet texture stamped over top. I took inspiration from one of your recent crochet projects and freehanded a lil guy for the accent nail 🐥🌿

Swipe for the collage and check #FionasCrochetBday to see all the crocheted birthday looks up close! 💜 Thank you so much to Caroline @tinkerbell1970s and Gem @_nailgems_ for hosting and including me 🩷
