Just a little snippet of some of the warm fuzzies I keep on my home screen.

I started doing this many years ago during college when things were rough, and even though I don't really update or maintain it often I still keep it up even on new phones.

My memory gets really fuzzy sometimes but I think it's a beautiful thing to be able to remember, especially during times that are rough.

As a non-enjoyer of crimps I'm really happy with how this buzzer-beater at @rscbrookline turned into, "I shall simply not 💅" to "oh gosh I think this goes 💪". Sadly its already set over with the pink, but the 3 of us managed to each clear it 🎉

Okay the funny story about this one was I was tinkering around with the crux of this with @eweiboston during the previous paddle session, cheat-started into the position before the crux, solved the crux for myself with the toe-hook, and then ended up just sending it until the end 😅

Then comes like, 10+ additional attempts across the two sessions, trying to figure out a smooth sequence of the start, having eric and @figurefloor remind me to match in the beginning, solving new cruxes that popped up, dealing with finger pain and fatigue 💀

Really proud of us :) thank you both for the 📸 and the cheers

Nothing like sending a V7 under duress. I could hear the vacuum going for closing the gym 😬. We did a speed run of the entire gym and I managed to send this at the very end of the session. Thanks again @figurefloor and @enamored.emm for another inspired climbing sesh 🙌🏼

Proud of this incredibly crimp heavy V7 🥵. Thanks to @figurefloor and @enamored.emm for all the beta. Even if I blacked out in the middle of the climb and didn’t listen to you screaming at me 😅

Just dabbling in a different video style--kinda a vlog-type of thing from a recent session. I feel really strong and convinced that I am despite my timid and cautious tendencies since my injury over a year ago. Cant believe i day-flashed the pink, here at @rscbrookline--dynos scare me so I feel good about my approach and progression towards it.

These are just the sends--theres a ton that I didn't get to that I wanna revisit for sure:

⬛️V8: theres a slabby 8 that opens with a damn dyno and overhead press. Im not sure how able i am to hit the move but i wanna give it a shot since i like slab a lot

⬛️V6: theres long long pinch blocks around an arette to the right of the entrance, that I'm pretty close on but tried too late into the session to get the last move low-risk.

📕V8: theres a pink around the corner left of the pink 7 I sent. It opens with crimps+coordinated swing move but I wanna figure out a way to work around or with it.

⬜️🟩V7/V8: these two are on the same face as the pink 7 in the video. I accidentally solved the crux of the white and then continued towards the end, but with a chest start to take a look at the crux more closely 😅 couldn't send it at the end of the session. The green 8 also is a bit contort-ey but the second half or 2/3rds of it is very slabby and I wanna see it out.

As always, thank you @figurefloor and @eweiboston for 📸 and for cheering me on 🥰

I just knew--when I hit that dyno first try (miraculously) and it made that sound--I knew I had to play it back 🔥

Had a really fun climbing session with @eweiboston and @figurefloor at @centralrocknorthstation. I wasnt even going to do this climb because it looked scary and draining when Eric threw a few attempts at it—

🫂big hugs to him for encouraging me to try it, despite my whining & complaining :) and cheering me on 🗣🎉
🫂big hugs to Damon for instinctively pulling out the 📸 because sometimes I'll demo and dabble in a climb or a part of one, and then end up sending the whole thing 😅

Those 6 dropknees felt like I did 16 of them, when youre twisting and turning, fighting for your life not to fall off

Also thank you @yobechyant for the editing assist :)

Fun sesh today with @figurefloor and @enamored.emm !Worked through this V7 that I was only able to get with a funky heel hook start beta 🙃. First time back @centralrocknorthstation in a few months 🙌🏼

[8/2/25] Visitor Pass - [V4] in Lynn Woods. This was such an incredibly fun & challenging climb for our first time out for the year.

Part 2 to the previous post--where @figurefloor (thank you for spotting me 🙏) and I climb against our undying fears of a bad fall bouldering outdoors. Had to speed up parts of it because I spent so long being careful.

There's a big rock face on the left that we were worried about, along with the rocky flooring underneath the pads. We also haven't really bouldered at this height outdoors either, and you can see I wasn't used to the sensation of the [literal] rock wall; my feet couldn't stick and smear properly, I was having a hard time finding solid hand holds, shaking from fear & some exhaustion the whole time 😅 as you can hear me scream post-crux

In the other outdoor posts it's clear I've come a long way; this was fun to climb, record, edit, and share :) looking forward to sharing more

[8/2/25] Last month Damon & I headed to Lynn Woods and finally got a chance to climb outdoors for the first time of the year—if not first time outdoor bouldering—after a series of schedule mismatches and a record-breaking 13 rainy Saturdays in a row. We just wee lads laddin' it up 💪

After warming up on a straightforward V2, we jumped right into bit of a highball V4 😅 and, for outdoors, feels significantly more harder than indoors, because of how the rock feeling is so sharp, and how there's no flamboyantly colored/shaped holds to guide where your hands/feet can possibly go.

I'll share the V4 ["Visitor's Pass"] in the next post since the vid is long, but here's the sends shared:
V3️⃣ Pot Luck Dinner
V2️⃣ Ziggy single boulder
V1️⃣ Ocular Pat-down
V0️⃣ Nitecrawlerz

Our first day outdoors together was a great success—despite being scared shitless from potential of falls on the V3&4, among all the other first time anxieties.

Thank you for spotting, the snacks, and for a wonderful & memorable weekend @figurefloor ☺️

8/24/25 Fun day climbing at Lincoln Woods today with these boys and the Rockspot crew. Sent “Neil’s Lunge” a solid V4 and made some progress on a new V6 project “Ab Master.” Didn’t really pull on it till the end of the session but happy with the progress, will definitely be back to send this next time.

I hope to be able to inspire others as much as the inspiration I feel when I'm around these two.

Dont wanna make this too sappy or long--they already deal with a bit of that already 🥴

Just enjoy being surrounded by others with an energy of a similar wavelength :) appreciate yall ~
