Amazing hype from everyone @made_health_club

I thought I was done with endurance races this year but when Vanessa asked, I couldn’t say no! This morning was a killer but I had so much fun.

I have been considering how to articulate my thoughts and how to acknowledge what it means to me as a parent of a man with significant disabilities to be part of a community that not only supports him but genuinely respects the contribution he makes.

Recently @teamjordancabrita was invited to be a guest presenter at the @coachescongress.official in Melbourne I’ve been overwhelmed by this not only was he invited but he is a key part of the conference he is part of the team . This speaks volumes to the heart of CrossFit @crossfitaust have been a key part of making space for Jordan and supporting adaptive pathways in Australia 🇦🇺

I guess what I am saying is that in a world that often devalues a person with disabilities.
Underestimating the ability they have despite the diagnosis , because a diagnosis doesn’t define a person.

I’m so grateful for the community.
The business’s and organisations that have invested in Jordan to help us share his skills and passion.

Thank you too those that advocate and cheer Jordan .

Sunday well spent in Brisbane for some cooking with @fiitx__

As an adaptive athlete I’m all for finding ways for me and others in my community to have opportunities and compete especially when it’s an inclusive environment. For me this is important it’s an opportunity to create and influence change, accessibility and inclusive practices from the onset.

@fiitx__ is building on some really exciting things especially for our adaptive community.

@srh.jne.b came with me to help me communicate.

@maddysonllloyd and I got out the guns and @chez_adaptive_athlete was also there.

Come along as we grow this season.
