Join us for the East Bay edition of Future Perfect at Spire the Church. This month features four live performances followed by a two hour collaborative performance by three musicians.

- Live Performances By -
Equilet - Textural electro glitch
Jah's Tin - Ambient acid dub
OKVLT NO1Z3 - Experimental Frequencies // Darkwave // Witch House
File Tree - Improvised ambient techno

- Techno Kissa Collaborative Performance By -
RMNA, Fleshy Temples, All That's Gone

Techno Kissa is Future Perfect's collaborative live performance series. If you’ve seen the Stoor or Circle of Live performances on Youtube it’s similar to that. A group of performers create music that exists only in the moment, posting ideas into the mix for the other musicians to play off of.

As a collaborative salon, the intent is to create a space for people to talk about art or ideas, start projects or generally feel like part of something.

It’s a Portlandia sketch in the making but until it airs, this Friday I’ll be DJ’ing at Mission’s hottest new club. Love Story yoga studio.

The yoga class will be taught by the incredible @miarosevoss but don’t let her empathy fool you, I’ve taken a couple of her classes and my legs were cooked afterwards 👩‍🍳

I’ll be playing a mix of 24’ and newer dreamy house and ambient techno with electronica 🧶 connecting the not so distant cousins.

This thing can get MEAN. The @stylophone_official Gen X-1 is tons of fun. Excels at wild swooping laser-battle/agitated droid sounds. A treat for leads too. It has an on-board analog delay, but I think it’s most fun with pedals. I paired it here with three monster Zoia patches-in-progress by @go_outside_music—granular reverb and crushing modulated delay.

Big thanks to Stylophone for sending me one to check out!

Jamuary’s in the home stretch, friends…
