@catandcalmell for Odyssey TV

Cat & Calmell are the Sydney-based indie pop duo that are our ones to watch. Their recently released mixtape LIVE LAUGH COOL STAR captures the zeitgeist with its hyperpop sensibilities, inspired by celebrity culture, hedonism, and the surreal ups and downs of being an artist today. In the new episode of Odyssey TV, Roxy hangs out with the duo for a raw, hilarious and honest chat about the pressures of being an artist and how this project helped them find themselves.

On set of their 10 cover story, @teenjesusandthejeanteasers run around Villa Alba wearing @coach and, between shots, discuss their upcoming live shows. “This year we want more of a show. A big production,” says Scarlett McKahey. “When we toured with Pearl Jam last year, the way they use the stage and command it, and also involve the crowd, was very inspiring.” As they gear up for a year of shows celebrating their album GLORY, the band have a newfound confidence. “No more imposter syndrome here, we know what the fuck we’re doing,” says McKahey. “And we’re really excited.”

Love in Crete // Eleni & George

“Sun-drenched and unapologetically joyful, George and Eleni’s four-day celebration in Crete was a masterclass in destination wedding design – layered with heritage, color and personality at every turn. Rooted deeply in place, the couple chose locations that reflected their long love affair with Greece, from a hilltop chapel overlooking the sea to a dramatic estate entrance transformed by a bold fuchsia runway that instantly signalled this was no ordinary wedding weekend.” - @thewed
