Taken with black and white film by @filmshari featuring @shari_putra @sierra.fawn and I. Living for my girlies these days. I feel so blessed to have so many beautiful amazing women in my life. 🙏🏻💖

So excited to announce our upcoming exhibition 𝓐𝓬𝓽𝓼 𝓸𝓯 𝓒𝓪𝓻𝓮 opening on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟔𝐭𝐡 at Ruth’s Table.

For this exhibition we sought to assemble a collection of works that illuminate moments of care, regeneration, and solidarity. This selection of pieces explores questions such as: Who or what heals and nurtures you? What does self-care look like? What does mutual care look like? What gives you the strength to get back up? What do you protect and hold close? How does strength
in a community take shape, grow, and evolve? Through images and artwork, we aim to highlight the regenerative practices and reciprocal relationships that fuel positive narratives of compassion for the self and the wider community.

We hope you will join us for an evening of poetry and celebration of care.
6 - 8:30, August 16th

'The Port of Oakland', 2014, Middle Shoreline Park, Oakland by Kawena Vidigal

Kawena Vidigal (she/her) is a visual artist based out of Oakland, CA. Specializing in printmaking, Kawena discovered a love for the analog photography and darkroom printing that mimicked that process. Over the course of the 12 years she has lived in the bay she has continued to document and discover and because of that fall even more in love the San Francisco Bay Area. @shari_putra

This piece is part of our exhibition 'Fresh Eyes: A Look at the Bay Area' on view at @fourbarrelcoffee, and is available to purchase. You can find out more details about the piece through the link in our bio or by emailing art@fourbarrelcoffee.com
