Last night, @contra_celluloid opened the necronomicon at the @lumierecinemala for a special screening of the 2013 Evil Dead. A movie I haven’t seen since it came out 13 years ago I dug it back then but rewatching it last night it reminded me how hard it goes and had some really good scares. After the movie we got a Q&A with co-writer/director @iamfedealvarez and lead actress/final girl @janeclevy.

The plot is under wraps but what I can say? The Queen is still trying to find the best place to trick-or-treat. And the chaos that follows? You’ll never guess.

before there was kids make horror, there was one big question:

would child and teen creators want to share their stories? we put out a call, hoping the right people would see it. and they did.

the incredible young filmmakers, storytellers, and terror-crafters you’ll meet in this documentary all became part of the project from that first call.

looking back now, it’s kind of surreal to see where it all began. 💖

thank you to everyone who believed in this project from the very beginning and to the young creators who trusted us with their stories.

💖 celebrate the team 💖 support the film. link in bio.

The trailer for my newest short film, Pretty Brutal!!!!

This film is my ode to erotic thrillers like Angel, Crimes of Passion, Stripped to Kill and Body Double ❤️🔪

Starring @jessaflux @therealrobertbrianwilson and @vincecusimano

Shot by @sophiacacciola with the help of @michaeljepstein edited by @burbankcinemaclub

Lots of other amazing people involved that I didn’t tag because they either have day jobs or kids that this might be too spicy for but details coming to IMDb soon!!

Hitting the festival circuit late 2026!!!!

I just watched another entry of the Evil Dead series, a franchise that I have grown up with my whole life. The new film, "Evil Dead Burn", was absolutely fantastic — one of the best entries since "Evil Dead Rise". This chapter delivered chaos, fear, and everything I love about this series. Now I wait with excitement for the next chapter, "Evil Dead Wrath". And while I was watching the movie, I did not expect to see somebody cosplaying as Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series. It felt like a tribute to the legacy that started it all.
