As some of you know, on Friday my camera was broken. I was punched in the chest really hard as I was trying to shield my camera, and my camera ended up taking a blow. From what I know, the flash was busted and some of the internal electronics were likely messed up as well. Camera has taken a beating in the past, but it survived great up until this point.

I know that potential damage comes with the territory of what I shoot, I accepted that risk before I even picked up the camera, but this couldn’t have happened to me at a worse time. I just went back to school full time for my 3rd year of college, so my only source of income for this semester would have come from my photography work. This has been my main camera for almost 4 years now. This was my first camera that I picked out and chose to buy. It’s been with me everywhere, and is more than just a camera to me. It carried me through my senior year of highschool, and my entire time in college, where I am pursuing a photography degree.

My camera has been shipped off to Nikon, just waiting for a diagnosis and quote on repairs, which I was told will take about two weeks. If I go forward with repairs, it’ll be another 2+ weeks until I get it back, leaving me out of commission for at least a month. If you have ever used one of my pictures on flyers, merch, I would greatly appreciate a repost. 99% of my work is done for free.

I’ll be running a special print and mini zine sale soon to cover repair costs, and the potential costs for a new camera. I am also selling a bunch of stuff on my depop and will be updating the shop as I go through clothes. I currently have things from a size XS to XL, and will likely add some 2x and 3x.
I am so beyond thankful for everyone who has donated and bought something from me so far. Send me your address and I’ll have something special for you guys as soon as I get this situated, I promise.
I went to bed that night feeling hopeless and crying about what I lost, and woke up crying about how you guys have really come in clutch for me. For real thank you
Slides 2-10 are some pictures I’ve taken on this camera that I am very proud of. Slides 11 and 12 is my depop and donation information.

Dead Rose is back. After a 3-4 year hiatus, we’re coming to @clubcongress with new (unreleased) music, a new drummer, and a renewed drive to put on fun shows and write sick music. New single releasing July 12th, followed by a demo EP early August. We’re looking forward to seeing you all. In the meantime, you can still support our former drummer and brother @donxramon and his projects @fortunamalvada @heavyweight.az @finalstancehc
