This EMA indicator is how I make around $10k/mo trading XAUUSD Gold — and it’s not for the reason you think. 💸

Let me kill the fantasy right now: I don’t win 90% of my trades. I lose more than I win. Roughly 6 out of every 10 go against me.

And I’m still profitable. 🔥

Here’s the math nobody on your feed will show you: with a 1:2.5 reward-to-risk, every win pays for 2.5 losses. You don’t get paid for being right — you get paid for the size of your wins. Breakeven is a low win rate; anything above it is profit. That’s the whole business.

The 20/50 indicator just makes it mechanical:

✅ A fixed 2.5x target — you know your reward before you click
✅ Your stop loss, set for you — no moving it out of fear

You can win two-thirds of your gold trades and still make almost no money. I’ve done it. 😅

The problem was never my entries. It was that I didn’t understand the shape of how gold moves.

❌ Small targets because they hit more often
❌ Taking half off to “lock something in”
❌ Skipping setups that look ugly
❌ Moving the stop when price gets close 📉

✅ Gold’s average winner is roughly TWICE its median winner
✅ Which means a few big runners carry the entire result
✅ So the target has to be big enough to let them run
✅ 2.5x your stop, set before you click 💰

I tested every target on real gold data — same stop, same 3 months, only the target changing 👇

1️⃣ At 1:0.75 → 66% win rate. Two-thirds winners and the account barely moved. You feel like a genius and earn nothing.

2️⃣ At 1:1.5 → 51%. Decent, nothing special.

3️⃣ At 1:2 → 45%. Good.

4️⃣ At 1:2.5 → 41% win rate and the profit PEAKED. Best balance in the whole sweep.

5️⃣ At 1:3 → same profit, uglier streaks. At 1:4 it collapsed to ~30%. The runners simply run out ⚠️

🎯 85 trades. 41.2% win rate. 1.71 profit factor. +10.9% in 3 months. Under 4% drawdown.

That’s why partials break this system. Cut the runners and you keep the ordinary winners while paying for every loss in full.

Gold doesn’t pay you for being right. It pays you for being there when the runner shows up.

😶 Let me tell you the reality of becoming a forex trader.

My mistakes are gonna help you become a better trader than I ever was — and I mean that. Because everything I’m about to tell you, I lived it. Four years of it.

I overtraded. Every single day I had to be in something. I risked way more than I should’ve, chasing the win instead of protecting what I had. I kept looking at other traders — where they were, what they were posting — and it ate me alive, comparing my chapter one to their chapter ten. I was trading off my phone, off MT5 charts, never opening my laptop, never zooming out to the higher time frames. So I was basically trading blind and wondering why it wasn’t working.

And it got worse. I’d take a loss, then another, then keep going past two, three, four — revenge trading, trying to win it back the same day. I had my eyes on five different pairs at once instead of mastering one. And the part that still gets me — the money I did make, I never put it anywhere. Never bought a single asset with it. Never thought about compounding, never let it grow. I’d make it and watch it disappear, over and over, like the profit never even happened.

That’s the truth of it. Not the highlight reel, the actual mess. And if you’re doing even half of what I just listed, I’m not telling you this to make you feel bad — I’m telling you because I wish someone had sat me down and said it to my face years ago. You don’t have to lose four years like I did. Learn it from me instead.
