A lovely little day in my life 💖🦋🏉👩🏼‍💻

I get asked “Meg how do you do it all”

The answer: Get smart with your annual leave.

Be creative, book a half day or heck randomly have a whole day off (this naturally makes the workaholic in me feel uneasy but we are learning, this is growth lol)

That said… a note to myself when you take half a day of annual leave that does not mean you come in and do a 8.5 hour day straight when you get into the office to catch up 🙃🫠😅 (I actually felt anxious because I took half a day off 🫣)

And while I’m here talking about days off - I’ve got a day very much ✨on✨ building @geteveryonemoving 📲🏃🏼‍♀️💖👩🏼‍⚕️🏋🏼‍♀️

All the best, god bless xoxox

Did you know @sohofoodfeast is 15 glorious years old this year? 🎉🎉🎉 ( BUT technically our 13th event due to pandemic times)

There are so many INCREDIBLE folk involved in making this #charity event successful & to raise as much funds as possible for @sohoparishschool 🏫 🚸 👨🏽‍🦱👩🏽‍🦰👱🏾🤸🏿‍♀️

The restaurants // The sponsors // The coordinators // The volunteers // You 💛

The Food Feast is run by school parents and volunteers to raise money that is used directly in improving the local school and the experience of its children.

OUR HISTORY// 🧑‍🍳👨🏿‍🍳

Soho Food Feast was set up by @margotehenderson , of Rochelle Canteen and St. John restaurants, and @pinot_moir , then the school's catering manager (both were school parents), alongside other valued members of the Soho community, such as Lesley Lewis of the @frenchhousesoho , Carolyn Dawson of The Union and Hilary Heath.

The first event took place 15 years ago and has since grown from a school fete style gathering, to a large weekend extravaganza of exciting restaurants, chefs, bars and entertainment. Not forgetting the infamous vegetable sculpture competition for the kids!

HOW IT WORKS// 🎟️🎟️ 🥙🍢🍹🍻🍶

The Soho Food Feast takes place in St. Anne's Gardens on Dean Street, supported by our friends at St. Anne's Church. Visitors purchase tokens that can be exchanged for small signature dishes from dozens of restaurants, as well as being entertained by live music, an amazing raffle, & great bar options.

The event attracts foodies from across London as well as families and Soho residents, the fundraising objective giving it a great community feel and energetic atmosphere. It really is a wonderful event to be part of.

And the best part. 🌟

YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE ❤️💛🫂

🏆GOOOOO finnCap! 🏆

Our semi-final winners at @finatal_'s charity netball tournament earlier this month. Playing against the likes of August Equity, Bowmark Private Equity, @tenzing.pe, Aurelius, and Inflexion Private Equity!

This event has so far raised £1,160 for Off the Record, @talkotr, a free counselling and mental health support service for children and young people, carers and refugees.

Thank you for organising Finatal!
