am incredibly proud of my favorite child; she worked hard for this achievement. @finding.neemo

I went to the National Park in D.C. to watch "Porgy and Bess." I would have liked to enjoy the performance without worrying about the feeling of D.C. being a police state. I knew they wouldn't bother opera fans, as we’re not the target audience. The performance lasted only one hour and thirty minutes, and most of the chorus was cut. However, Neema had a few appearances in the show.

My time on Catfish Row has officially come to an end :,) It was an honor and a privilege to have this show be my very first Washington National Opera production. Everyone in this cast crew and chorus was so welcoming and I feel like I really got to build such a lovely community here and it is so special to me that I got to be surrounded by so much Black excellence. Thank you to everyone who made this experience so wonderful 💖

Thank you for being my home away from home. Thank you for all the AMAZING memories and the FANTÁSTICO familia I met along the way. I’m so so sad that our time has come to an end (shortest and greatest 1.5 years of my life) but I will take a little piece of you with me wherever I go. Never forget how amazing you are ✨

Te Amo 💕
