After a lot of drawing, overthinking, packing, and probably way too much staring at my computer screen… the Roots in Play collection finally has an online home!!

Tees, totes, stickers, postcards — all the little weird things I’ve been working on are now available online!

A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported my little creative adventure so far. Whether you’ve bought something, shared my work, or just quietly cheered me on, I appreciate you more than you know. 🫶🏻

And for those who prefer awkward face-to-face interactions… good news, another pop-up is coming very soon. 👀

We’re beyond thrilled to share that The Loneliest Race has won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Documentary Program 🏆

A huge congratulations to the incredible team behind this film, beginning with producers Hannah Donegan, Erica Leendertse, and Ann Shin
Director Alexander Craig
Writer Celine Wong
Associate Producer Dorcas Ho
Editor Steve Taylor and additional editing from Peter Denes
Composer Todor Kobakov
DOP Stephen Chung
Technical Director Josh Marr
and the many talented creatives and collaborators who brought this incredible film to life. A BIG thank you to @cbcgem @cbcdocs and Michelle McCree for believing in the project from the start, and to Gaurav Shinde for inspiring the whole thing.

Set against the backdrop of the world’s most punishing seas, The Loneliest Race would not have been possible without the courage and vulnerability of the sixteen sailors who opened up their journeys to us, and the Golden Globe Race for granting us extraordinary access to this remarkable event. ⛵️🌊

Proud to celebrate this recognition with the entire team, thank you to the Academy for this incredible honour.

Watch The Loneliest Race at CBC Gem!
