I had a great time leading a bird hike for @weoutside.social at Middlesex Fells Reservation this morning! The birds were actually quite active! We saw about 18 species, but it was consistent activity! Thank you to everyone who joined us! It was a great pleasure birding with you! 🙂

Thanks to everyone who came out on this drizzly morning to go birding at Franklin Park! It was a great pleasure birding with you! The weather app lied today! 😄 We had a bit of rain at the start and had to take cover under a tree a few times, but what made it cool was the conversations we had while taking cover. Still was nice to be outdoors, enjoying nature with like-minded folks! The highlight was the fledgling barn swallows, nestled together on a nice perch over the pond! I truly wish I had my camera at that moment! @alfredbirding ran to go get his camera, but they flew away before he returned. Even though I didn't get a photo, it was a beautiful encounter! Birding is amazing in that way! Overall, it was a wonderful outing! Big thanks to the Franklin Park Coalition @franklinparkbos for making this possible! Also, thanks to @urbnparks for co-sponsoring the walk! 🙂
