🌹Discovering unique finds and designing new pieces, savoring the amazing live reactions to our latest treasures. This time has been a season so full of beauty and inspiration and real life connection with our customers…..IN THE STREETS WITH IT😌💖

Hey y’all! So before we get into dropping these new pieces online, I wanted to reflect on and highlight how fashion can be used as a tool for us to empowerment ourselves. 💫

With so much going on in the world, every choice we make can be intentional and impactful and whenever possible, a channel back to ourselves and a demonstration of our power.

Over the past few of years, the way I’ve dressed and adorned myself has been a huge part of my personal growth and inner transformation. What I put on my body has become way more than just about aesthetics but more being about intuitive & intentional. About how I want to move through the world. And about who I’m becoming.

Here are some of the ways fashion has been such a powerful tool in my life and I’d love to know if any of these resonate with you

Over the past few years, watching myself evolve and bloom has been one of the dearest, more precious, most intimate experiences of my life. Noticing how the inner magic I’ve been cultivating, the shadow work I’ve diving into, the integration I’ve been practicing, beginning to blossom on the external has done something so special to me and my self concept. It’s originality. It’s something that exists nowhere else. It’s not something that can be bought or replicated. It’s not a trend. It’s not for show, although it does attract attention. It’s a beauty and an essence that’s been built from within. It’s something that I had to go to the depths of my soul to retrieve. And what I see when I look in the mirror is a woman I didn’t even know existed fr. For many years.

My journey is something I wear on me, energetically and through my adornment. It’s something I exude naturally.

This isn’t a rant to talk about how great I think I am. But moreso a reflection on how powerful the integration journey is. How important the hermit’s journey can be to reclaiming your power and parts of yourself you may have lost along the way. How the more work you do on yourself in your walk, the more magic you can hold.

And when I speak of magic, I’m talking about that unique spark that we all have. That animates us and makes us who we are and who we will continue to become, ordained by our Creator. I pray that you always hold on to that light & that spark and never let it go. Never let nobody play wit it or undermine it. Never become what the world tells you to be or cling to what it tells you to value. But always let those things be things true to you.

I could say so so much more but ima leave it here. Thank God for beauty & creativity & growth and the ability to imagine and manifest. To God be all of the glory.

So much beauty, So much character… grateful for when People in my life merge and connect in the same space - new and old relationships to be exact. It’s like seeing versions of myself in different ways that helps me determine how who I am today connects with who I was yesterday. Then getting to see people that I love creating their own relationships with other people that I love… creating this powerful matrix of perspectives and worlds and experiences. I know myself through my relationships and my relationships make me who I am.

It was SUCH an honor to be part of the MAQLUBA Zine Benefit (@maqluba_zine ) with @atlradicalart this past weekend, moments like this truly affirm why I do this work

This was a night rooted in holding space, remembrance, and for honoring our Palestinian brothers and sisters 🇵🇸

Every inch of this gathering was filled with sooo much love.

The art. The food. The stories. The culture. The solidarity.

You could feel it all moving through the building.

It meant so much to be surrounded by people who lead with compassion, intention, and heart for humanity

Being able to use adornment as a way to raise funds in support of @thepcrf and their life-saving work felt deeply aligns with what Street Cat Marketplace is about which is using creativity, beauty, and community to support liberation, care, and real-world impact.

Thank you to every single person who came through, showed love, donated, connected, and held this moment with us.
