For our first project, we wanted to create a spec for a brand we LOVE. @loreworld felt perfect like the perfect place to start. Not only are their fragrances divine, their existing visual identity feels dreamy and nostalgic. This is what came up with. No budget. Just an idea, a story and an amazing team. It was Star’s first time on a plane and he came to LA with me. Fresh of the flight we went straight to the beach with my friend Natalya. The next day I hosted the 3rd LA edition of @listeningisfun. Mau is a great DJ who I met last November. Sam and Elyse are musically inclined creatives out in LA! Met so many new people who love music samples like me. Then @isaiahrashad pulled up on us 🤭 Went to beach to relax with Kayla and Star. Kayla is an amazing tattoo artist. We got all got Thai food afterwards. I played some pool with Jake & Geddes. Next day I went downtown to meet up with Jalen. We met nine years ago in New York. Extended the trip because of bad weather then I happened to meet Tommy at the Golf store ⛳️ Went to the @kidsofimmigrants store to see Mija. We met in NY four years ago and she moved back to LA. Then I saw KO after not seeing him since the first we met also four years ago. KO and Mia are coworkers now? The place I met both of them is across the street from each other in NY. Tommy invited me to Vinyl night which was amazing. I wrote Destiny to randomly hang out and ended up at this outdoor table tennis party where I rain into Azha. Went back to New York and then ran into Liz in the next day I reconnected with Aires, Teak, and Esther after three years. I ran into several friends around town: Kharon while grocery shopping, Trae & Sherinita on my lunch break, JG on the way to work, Sam at his new job, and got a surprise visit from Christine. I celebrated Jes’ birthday, attended Nathan’s un-birthday party, and experimented with using my sunglasses to tint a few photos.
