Abdullah Al-Hourani is a rider who did not stumble into show jumping by chance, but chose it deliberately, driven by a genuine love for horses and an unyielding determination. Ten years ago, he went straight into this demanding art that requires precision, courage, and intelligence. Despite the difficult start, his passion and talent made him progress quickly, until his admirers gave him the nickname "the iron-hearted rider" for his remarkable boldness in clearing fences and tackling sharp turns. Yet he does not rely on daring alone, but blends it with a unique style that allows him to understand the horse's psychology before its path, turning their relationship into a dynamic dialogue. Today, after a decade of dedication, he competes with and often surpasses elite veteran riders in many local and regional competitions, thanks to his continuous training, patience, and keen insight. Yet the deepest part of his journey is his statement that he no longer competes for the trophy or medal, as these are merely natural outcomes for those who follow their passion and truly love horses. He lives the joy of the moment with his horse and gives it his trust, while medals have become just a symbolic recognition of the journey, and the real reward is the harmony that needs no translation between him and his mount. In an era where many chase the spotlight, Abdullah reminds us that the summit begins with a step that beats with love, and that the strongest hearts are those that beat first for the love of the horse, then for the desire to win.
