We’re all smiles to hear about the upcoming NYC performance of Weill’s HAPPY END by @glimmerglassfestival, @opera.saratoga, @fingerlakesopera and @seaglefestival. This production recently wrapped a fantastic summer tour of New York State and Western Massachusetts! 🎭🎶 The one-night-only performance will take place on November 12 at @kaufmanmusiccenter’s Merkin Hall featuring FOUR Lenya alumni! @anakarneza plays The Fly and is joined by @lisamarierogali as the Major, @christinetaylorprice as Lieutenant Lillian Holiday, and @jason.zacher as Benny! This performance uses Weill’s original orchestrations in contrast to the tour’s piano-only accompaniment. Director @marybdirects says: “This production has been an extraordinary example of what is possible when organizations choose collaboration over isolation. HAPPY END is a piece about unlikely alliances, competing ideals, and people trying to find their way through a complicated world. There is something especially fitting about four opera companies coming together to tell that story—and then bringing it to New York City.” #kurtweill #happyend #opera #musicaltheater #broadway

Happy to share some highlights from this summer along with upcoming events for this fall!! 🎶 In August, I made my first European opera house debut at @teatrotostiortona with the @molisevocalacademy as Violetta Valéry in La Traviata, a role that means the world to me🌹 I am also so thrilled and honored to have won third place in the @mioperablono International Vocal Competition for the Emerging Artist Division!🙏🏼 I’m excited to be back home performing locally in Rochester and Buffalo! I hope to see you there!❤️

it’s been a while! in may, i graduated summa cum laude from ithaca college with a bfa in stage management! i’m very thankful for my time there and all of the friends i made along the way. in my last semester, i decided to try my hand at producing and produced a workshop of Wolf in a Concrete Jungle by Eislinn Gracen with my best friend and partner Grant JF Crowson. after graduation, i stayed in ithaca for another month and worked as the general manager for the Finger Lakes New Works festival as well as the assistant stage manager and sub-caller on one of their productions, Lilies. then, for july and august, i went home to rochester to work with Finger Lakes Opera for the third summer in a row as the production stage manager on Glory Denied and the assistant stage manager on Le nozze di Figaro. in the middle of august, grant and i moved to our new apartment in brooklyn! okay, now you’re caught up 😮‍💨

This one was certainly one I won’t forget. So grateful to @fingerlakesopera and @haveystephanie for an incredibly joyful Marriage of Figaro, and especially to this wonderful cast for making the whole process so much fun. Getting to finish the Mozart/Da Ponte trilogy with @adamturner7 on the podium made it all the more meaningful. (3 VERY different worlds of Mozart) And, because live theater always has a few surprises… two fire alarms during the Act II finale made our second performance particularly memorable. Somehow, we came back with even more energy, and so did the audience who stuck with us. Until next time, Figgy.

I am over the moon! This summer served me well. I learned so much about myself as a person and an artist. I accomplished many goals. I made so many wonderful friends. I got my eyes opened to new ideas and renegotiated a lot of things in terms of my life and career. I grew so much and through so much this summer it’s hard to believe it was only three months! Rochester was good to me. Finger Lakes Opera and everyone I worked with this summer was good to me. I can’t really say anymore but thank you. Grateful and tired is where I am now.
