POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

“RUN AWAY WITH ME” has officially been released! The sequel to Rise of Asparagus Hero has arrived!

Psyched to finally share my most recent compositions with the world! This record is comprised of eight of my own originals spanning styles of blues, swing, waltz, Afro 6/8, Cha-Cha, Mozambique, rock, ballads, free-time, odd time, fast swing, and more fast swing! A lot has happened in the last year; I’ve felt joy, fear, frustration, and stress—but most of all, love. Please join me in the musical exploration of these feelings in listening. I feel I’ve grown a lot musically and personally since last year’s release. Also big shoutout to UCL Jazz Society for allowing me to premiere the title track at a guest concert in London this summer!

I’m super grateful to everyone involved in this project for their time and for bearing with me throwing at them some of the hardest music I’ve ever played, please show them some love!

This is a clip from studio class last night, and part of my solo over "Jonah's Tears". Been working really hard this semester, and I think my progress comes through. Its not perfect, but I'm aware of what I want to work on 💪 some cool stuff in here though!
