POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Successful practice today at Wrestle-Jitsu! We went over the front/mongolian uchi mata, worked some belt stuff and ended with a good ol king of the ring and butsukari. We are thankful for our new facility we can work a lot harder now that we have good mats! One new member today too Felix! Let's go sumo!

Last night was crazy, definitely 100x better than Jellopalooza! I had a blast learning about the color green, cows, and Trix cereal. Thanks for everyone who showed up, made a slideshow, and special thanks to those who made carrot cake!

looking back at storytelling night 💭 many different stories were shared and will be remembered and retold as time passes.

stories, though, aren’t only meant to be shared on a platform or behind a mic; we can share them over a meal, across from one another at a table.

RSVP to the last official NMDZ event by clicking the link in our bio, we can’t wait to spend the evening with you ✨

playing the dakota for the second time was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life (other than when i got a lego millennium falcon for xmas when i was 8). i have the greatest mentors on the fucking planet. i even got to perform a tune by shawn lane!!! he’s my biggest inspiration and being able to pay tribute to him with some of the coldest musicians i’ve ever had the pleasure of playing with was mind blowing. everyone in the fusion ensemble (and the rest of the macphail ensembles) are huge inspirations to me and i am honored to share the experience of music with these incredibly talented homies. @sethzdrums can play stuff on drums that i can’t even comprehend. @eli.brunelle is the tightest bassist ive ever played with. @kai_sartin shredz like no other AND he’s going to berklee. @fefe.nedd24 is THE homie and i cherish our friendship. @cooper_gunhus walked into rehearsal for the first time and played the hardest tune i know like it was light work. damn. so grateful for these homies.
