home kong 🌇

Hong Kong grew me in ways I never expected. I truly believe it changed my life in ways I still don’t fully understand yet.

I remember the first time I walked along Victoria Harbour. I cried. I felt small, overwhelmed, and completely taken by the skyline in front of me.

I landed in Hong Kong without expectations.
I left feeling like a different version of myself.

There’s something unique about this city. For me, it was wild how close nature and endless skylines can coexist. I used to tell people it felt like a mix between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
I remember my first days figuring out the subway, my hike up to Victoria Peak, my first time sitting on the upper deck of a bus in Mong Kok, just staring at the neon signs and feeling completely blown away.

Trusting the city at night, even when I had no idea where I was going.
And somehow, it always guided me.

Seeing dreams come true.
Meeting people who inspired me more than they’ll ever know.

Hong Kong gave me memories I will cherish forever. I couldn’t stop crying these last few days, but how beautiful is it that every ending carries the promise of a new beginning on the other side?

I hope there’s another Hong Kong chapter waiting for me. ❤️
