Lonely Child -
What do you do when your present self can’t outrun your old self until they meet in the middle? What does it look like when home is personified the moment you return, temptingly nostalgic, and beckoning you to stay despite everything in you telling you to move on?

Lonely Child was written by @nicolekang and directed by @thommymorais. It premieres at @thetidefilmfest this November 20th and I am so proud to announce my involvement in such a meaningful project with the powerhouse that is Nicole Kang. From day one, her vision for this film, the messages behind the visuals, and the heart behind the story that’s so close to her unique experiences growing up, were so compelling. I cannot wait to share the trailer for this and have the world see this beautiful piece of work. It’s moments like these that remind me how special it is to work with people you love who’s stories you believe in. Among Nicole, there were many people apart of this set that shared the same belief in the message of home and it felt like just that while shooting. ❤️
