It took me a long time to get onto stages like these.

When I finally did, those rooms opened me up to people who had never heard my music before, and honestly changed my life.

So for this UK/IE run I wanted to bring artists I properly love with me.

Some are friends, some I’ve just been a fan of from afar, some are already smashing it in their own world, but all of them make music I believe in and all of them deserve to be heard by rooms like this.

Amber Run being on this one feels really full circle too. They were the first band to ever give me a chance to get up on stage and sing, so having them with me now means a lot.

Come early. Show them love. You might find your next favourite artist.

Our next Sparrow Spotlight is for @fionaleeofficial ! I was first introduced to Fiona Lee in June 2025 when she opened for CMAT on her ‘Glasto warm-up’ tour, ahead of her Pyramid Stage performance. Fiona then took her recently released EP at the time, ‘Nothing Compares to Nineteen’, to Glastonbury, along with CMAT, where she performed on the BBC Introducing Stage.

Fiona is from Howden in East Yorkshire and grew up playing small open mic events in Goole and Hull. It is exciting to see Yorkshire-born talent recognised more widely. Fiona’s second EP was released on April 14th, and it is well worth a listen!

One year of AlwaysTheCowboyPics ✨🪅

A year ago I was feeling burnt out, I was struggling to have balance and fuel the creative side of me. I turn to music for many moments in my life. I’m currently listening to “Love is like a butterfly” by Dolly P as I type this our.

I knew i couldn’t let everything build up anymore, I decided one night to get a £20 film camera off eBay and having a go at shooting gigs. I wasn’t sure what to expect at the time, I had never done photography before and well really I was just learning whilst doing.

In the past year i’ve found a creative outlet that fuels me. It pushes me to be better and to approach each gig differently.

I’ve also developed a new found appreciation tor the music industry and truly how much handwork and graft goes into each gig and festival.

I am so grateful to all the opportunities i’ve had this year, want to give a massive shoutout to Russ & Kieran at @erazer_mag who help me to shoot and review so many amazing artists.

And also a shoutout to every photographer, promoter, artist, and wider music industry peeps for your help and very wise advice.

Here’s to another year of shooting gigs ⚡️

This post is to tell you a few things x x

First off, and most importantly, we're playing a gig in London on 7th October supporting @oliverpinder and it's gonna be really quite good. Don't hang around, we need to know you're coming, alright? I can see you thinking about. TICKETS IN ME BIO YEH.

We had our first rehearsal the other day and my god does it sound good. I know I'm not supposed to be arrogant but you should hear these songs in the flesh then tell me they aren't great.
