We actually finished yesterday (today at midnight), but I was busy working on Silence and forgot about it till now.
Thanks again to the entire crew and cast.
Only a couple pickups and inserts left.
Stay on your tippy toes for more news.

Some BTS from Confluering and Silence.
Still some day’s to go but I already gotta give a huge thank’s to the crew and cast, showing us the ropes and being so patient with us, not to mention their amazing work.
Without them we’d be 2 idiots with equipment.
Confluering is directed by me, Silence by Jules, both are mixed in here, the night one's are my still's made by Jules, the one's during daytime are Jules' photographed by me.
Stay posted for updates and check out all their @'s.

This shoot started with a phone call on a Saturday morning at 1 a.m. “Hey Leslie, are you free on Monday?”

It was about filming a short movie for the “Crème fraîche” film competition — with the deadline on March 3rd. So yes… literally the next day.

After that, everything moved very fast, and suddenly I found myself right in the middle of another film shoot.

We have a lot to say, so here’s a little summary:

1. Thank you to everyone who put in the time and energy to be part of such a SPONTANEOUS shoot (we literally got our actors the same day lol).

2. Thank you to Lune for being our personal makeup and fashion artist. You were amazing, and thanks for all the BTS pictures too!

3. Thank you to Melvyn and Daniela for being our actors! You really had to go through a lot (sorry about that 😭), but you both did such a great job.

4. Thank you to Elvin’s parents for letting us film until literally midnight 🫶🏼🩷

5. Thank you to Alex for editing the entire short film until 4 a.m., even though you had to get up two hours later for work. We owe you big time 🙏🏼🥹 You did an incredible job!

And finally, thank you to the film crew:
Elvin, our director;
Fynn, our one and only cameraman;
Liam, the sound mixer;
Colin, the focus puller (who loves to stop recording before the end-slate — which is why at some point we had to tape his finger away from the button 😂);
and Leslie (me) — scriptwriter and actress.

I really loved this little “lost weekend” vibe.
Can’t wait for the real one in March… stay tuned 😉🎬
