It was a pleasure to be part of such a beautiful wedding ceremony between @obiiaku and @theboypeure 🤍 Designing the Bridal and Bridesmaid bouquets was an incredible honour and a true labour of love. From our initial consultation, we knew this wedding would be something special. The bride envisioned something timeless and full of meaning, and it was a joy to select each bloom with intention. Every flower was chosen not just for its beauty, but for the emotion it carried—soft, ivory roses for elegance and delicate greenery for growth and harmony. May your love continue to blossom like the flowers you carried on your wedding day - vibrant, tender, and ever-growing. May your journey together be full of peace, purpose, and countless shared blessings. Thank you again for choosing Ochi Flowers to be a part of your story - it was an absolute joy! Atlantans hold a rally to affirm their commitment to stop cop city and in defiance of the Mayor's ribbon cutting ceremony. 116,000 Atlanta residents signed a petition demanding a public vote on Cop City — yet Mayor Andre Dickens and city leadership did everything in their power to block the democratic process. Their refusal to listen to the will of the people reveals the deep cracks in the foundation of our city’s leadershipa. While Cop City drains millions from the city’s budget, Atlanta’s real emergencies are growing worse: affordable housing is becoming increasingly scarce, the unhoused population grows daily, and vital city workers face layoffs. This press conference is just steps away from two tragedies highlighting these misplaced priorities-the brutal murder of Cornelius Taylor across from Ebeneezer Baptist Church and a hospital that has permanently closed its doors, casualties of a city government that chooses militarization over community care. This press conference also happens just days after the police murdered 24 year old Damarion Smith. These avoidable tragedies remind us our fight isn't over until Cop City falls and Atlanta reallocates funding towards services that actually keep our communities safe.  Cop City may be built, but Atlantan's resistance remains as strong and determined as ever. The press conference will feature striking visuals and a public spectacle to highlight the human cost of Cop City. This is not just about a facility — it’s about the soul of our city. Event Details:
What: Press Conference Opposing Cop City Ribbon Cutting
When: 5:30pm, Tuesday April 29th
Where: Jackson Street Bridge, Atlanta, GA
Who: The People’s Campaign to Stop Cop City, local residents, community leaders, and impacted families. We are calling on all who believe in democracy, justice, and a future where all Atlantans can thrive — not just the wealthy and the well-connected — to stand with us.
