We are soooo excited to be bringing @whosleolion to Seattle this spooky season with a limited run of his hit production TROUBLE FEATURE ☠️

In this improvised role-playing game show, a rotating cast of performers compete to survive a horror movie by pulling blocks from an increasingly shaky tower🩸

In an innovative format inspired by cult-hit roleplaying game Dread, and fueled by a love of campy horror, we perform an original B-movie at every show, scored live by talented improv musicians!

Only one player can become the FINAL GIRL, so bring a friend, grab a drink, and see who will live long enough to see the credits roll.

Each performance has a different theme:
10/22 @ 8pm - Dangerous Cargo at Base Camp Studios (Co-pro with Washington Ensemble Theatre)
10/25 @ 5:30pm - Playtime’s Over
10/28 @ 8pm - An Imperfect Science
10/29 @ 8pm - Sleepaway Slasher
11/1 @ 5:30pm - The Fathomless

(Casts for each show to be announced soon!)

🎟️ are now liiiiiive! Get them soon because this show will sell out and with a different cast each night, you won’t want to miss out!!

I’m gonna break all the rules: I’m going to tell you that there was a spy show. It did happen, and you should definitely buy tickets to it.

I know they will deny there was ever a show, but Leo Lion is a comedy genius. The show has a definitive beginning and a definitive end. However, the journey to get there all depends on how the audience interacts with Lion.

In “I Was Never Here (There Is No Spy Show)”, our hero, the spy, has his memory wiped, and through a series of boxes and sticky notes, we need to help him discover access cards to open a silver box that holds the stop button to a bomb that will destroy the world.

It doesn’t help though that his memory keeps getting wiped every time a button onstage gets pushed, and you can bet that that button is being pressed accidentally throughout the entire show!

The crowd is drunk on giggles and you feel a childlike wonder helping our hero find the access cards. That glee only amplifies when you’re invited to play in it all too, with volunteers running out of the theatre to find secret packages, choosing disguises for him to wear onstage, and even becoming a part of the story by playing his nemesis.

The show is incredibly clever and changes each night as the items in the box change too. I was at the edge of my seat watching the countdown clock, genuinely worried that he wouldn’t make it on time!

If I had the time to go again, I absolutely would! It only runs until the 25th, so you’ll need to hurry for your ticket. And, for the love of all that is good and theatrical, can someone please get this man a fully produced run in an established theatre? Heck, why not even a tour? I’ll even settle for an Off-Broadway, Off-West End run/Vegas residency. 😉

Love,
Tony x

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ CORR BLIMEY
“It is interesting to see Lion at work, as they identify as a game creator as well as a theatre maker. This gamification of theatre is apparent in their work, and is something they are clearly incredibly skilled at.”

“So rich is Lion’s creation, in fact, that an audience will inevitably sample only part of it at any given performance.”
