POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

To be loved is to be seen 🥹🫶🏼 I was watching Me Before You and I was thinking about what my “bumblebee tights” gift would be, so I decided to make a post about it! I’m a very sentimental person and I love gift giving, but it has nothing to do with the monetary value of a gift, and everything to do with the meaning behind it. As you can see most of these are small, simple, or homemade gifts. I just think it’s really beautiful when someone says “I was thinking of you and wanted to give you this to show you that.”🥹🫶🏼

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 》I cannot even begin to express to you how excited I am for The Knave and the Moon! When I first read The Knight and the Moth I was completely blown away. Not only by the story, but by Rachel’s style of writing! I had never read anything like it before! I’ve since read her other trilogy, and am completely obsessed with her atmospheric writing. She truly is the queen!

𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭 》I purchased an event ticket to see Rachel speak at an event on Thursday, but I’m starting to have to scaries about going 🤣 I panic bought the ticket because I really, really wanted to go! However, it’s almost two hours away on a work night and I’d have to go by myself.. I know I should be spontaneous and go but I might tap out 😞 HOWEVER, the event hosts said they’d mail the book to me so that’s nice to know at least 🥹

𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭 》Do you live in a city where authors typically host events? I love going to them, but they’re never close to me!!

When a bookclub of bookbinders reads your book 🥹 So honored to receive these beauties from @fireboundbooks @spark.and.spine and @valentinebinds 📚

Truly the greatest gift of publishing this story has been getting to see so many of you creatively spark off it. Thank you for your collages and playlists and bedazzling and artwork. Hair dryer. Swipe to see the individual rebinds 💙🐳✨

@valentinebinds used “The Reconciliation of the Montagues and the Capulets over the Dead Bodies of Romeo and Juliet” by Frederic Leighton 🥀🥺

@valentinebinds quotation endpapers 🥹

@fireboundbooks used an illustration from an early 1910s edition of Romeo and Juliet 🎭

@fireboundbooks front ends are “Stage Design for Romeo and Juliet” 🥀

@fireboundbooks back ends are “Broadway Boogie Woogie” with a little nod to the Hayes Theater 🥹

@spark.and.spine did this incredible iridescent space whale and florals à la Eudora’s garden 🐳🌸

✨Book Rebinds hold a special place in my heart. I know they are a splurge but they are the epitome of a shelf trophy or more like a shelf treasure 🪎

I will say that it took some time to pull the trigger and buy my first one as I was scared that the quality would not be the same as the photo but I’ve been proven wrong! These rebinds have exceeded my expectations!

I can’t say this is where my collection will stop as I am currently waiting for a couple more. There are typically wait times when you order but the wait is welllll worth it.

💬 do you have some rebinds? Or any that you have your eye?
If you have some please leave a photo in the comments below! I’d love to see them 😊

Pictured books are (from left to right): Alchemised, Dungeon Crawler Carl book 1 & 2, The Way of Kings, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hue, When the Moon Hatched.
