The new BLENDE release marks another personal milestone closing one and opening another chapter, as the platform’s two key curators showcase their very first collaboration on a limited edition lathe cut vinyl. Soundwise, it reflects and translates what BLENDE stands for: experimentation within convenient and familiar structures. For this release, Hohe and 04061 combine their shared affinity for ambient and deep techno with more leftfield production approaches. With Mod21’s remix of «Vulnerability», they bring in one of the key figures of the early deep techno glow-up in the 2010s, adding his distinctive signature approach to the genre on this limited 12’ EP. We uploaded our first liveset together as LSP played at the 10 Year anniversary of @delusion.records at the @spedi.tion on soundcloud. Analog and modular synthesizers in full effect! Lucas Buchmann, performing as BUCHMANN, explores the space between control and chaos - exactly where modular sound lives. Usually found around Bremen and Oldenburg, from MS Tree to p.ara and Studio Illegale. Sascha, aka SMBR (formerly DATASTIX), moves between breaky structures and deep, raw techno. As part of the DELUSION crew, he’s had his introduction already. Philip Firek, known as FIREK, joins the duo. A long-time friend of DELUSION - almost 10 years - he witnessed the early warehouse days. Podcast #17 @firek._ Philip Firek is a Producer and DJ based in Hamburg, who is focused on synthesizer-based analog production of electronic music made both for headphones and club sound systems. While mostly staying under the radar, he was bringing like minded people together at the UNARTIG. Parties and supporting new and upcoming artists throughout the last decade. Firek’s productions and DJ sets incarnate his constant developments and changes in perspective on the scene, always having the aim to represent the current zeitgeist.
