Officially graduated from law school 🤯🥹

Apologies, but get ready for an essay…

Going to law school was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and yet the best decision I ever made. To say these last four years have been an absolute grind would be an understatement. Many a tear was shed, countless hours of studying, and a fair share of mental breakdowns were had. But through it all, I found a passion for the law, met the coolest people on the planet, and learned more than I ever thought possible.

I could not have done this without all of the amazing people in my life. To my parents, thank you for pushing me to take the leap, for supporting me through it all, and for the countless hours of testing me you endured 🤣 To Kyle, thank you for sticking by my side and riding the highs and lows with me. And to everyone else who supported me in the journey, thank you 🙏

To my classmates and forever friends, you truly are the hardest working group of people I’ve ever met. You showed me what it takes to be the best, to make tough sacrifices to achieve your goals, and to work hard through thick and thin. From being moms and dads to working full time jobs, I am beyond impressed by each and every one of you. Thank you for pushing me to be my best. The world needs good lawyers right now and I can go to sleep soundly at night knowing that each of you are out in the world making it a better place.

And lastly, thank you to my professors and to @loyolalawschool for creating a program that allowed me to travel the world and compete while still earning a degree. I am forever grateful.

I can’t believe it is finally over. But one step still remains… time to pass the bar! ⚖️

Did a little bit of everything Montreal. Coached, commentated and even spent a couple days being a tourist. Convinced the folks to come out and see what Montreal is all about. We did all the tours and ate all the food 😋

Montreal fans showed out 👏 Sat in the pouring rain for 4 straight hours to watch all the Semis, inspiring stuff ❤️🇨🇦 Hope we can keep coming back every year 🤞

Quick vacation at home for 3 days and already back at the airport 😅. Heading to Hamburg for another @beachvolleyballworld Elite!!

June 30th, 1962 - January 6th, 2012 • In Memory

William “Bill” Elliott was a dedicated firefighter whose life and legacy left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. Born on Long Island, New York, and later moving to Lighthouse Point, Florida, in 1974, Bill was the embodiment of commitment, kindness, and heroism.

As a firefighter, Bill devoted 29 years to the service—seven years with Lighthouse Point Fire Rescue and 22 with Pompano Beach Fire Rescue. William “Bill” Elliott is the only Pompano Beach firefighter to die in the line of duty. He was a pioneer of his profession, excelling in rope rescue, hazardous materials, rescue diving, and extrication. His colleagues fondly called him “MacGyver” for his mechanical ingenuity and ability to think clearly in the most challenging situations.

Bill’s natural charisma, bright smile, and sharp sense of humor made him beloved among his peers and the many people he helped throughout his career. His influence reached far beyond the firehouse, with friends from all walks of life, and his passion for adventure—whether hunting in the Everglades or skiing on slopes—was infectious. He taught those around him the value of enjoying life to its fullest, even in the face of danger.

Ultimately, Bill’s dedication to others remained unwavering, with his final moments spent in service to those he swore to protect. His passing on January 6, 2012, left a void, not just in his family but within the entire firefighting community, where he will forever be remembered as a hero—one who gave everything, even his life, for others. “With His Boots On,” Bill left us all a powerful legacy of bravery, loyalty, and a love for life. He is missed and loved by many, always.
