POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am sharing, teaching and giving away how to build a fashion runway for free on 20 November 2026. An online training for those curious, enthusiastic and eager to know what needs to be done to make the event & show a success.

This session is about the part nobody sees: the planning, the people and the push that turn a concept into a runway show. It’s run by Isabel Wetten, who has spent a decade producing and directing shows, and it covers the work as it really is. The schedules, the backstage, the roles most people don’t know exist, and what happens when a model doesn’t arrive twenty minutes before doors.

What we’ll cover:

Planning. Budgets, venues, timelines, designers, models, suppliers. What’s involved, and how long it takes.

People. Producers, show callers, backstage managers, dressers, model coordinators and the rest of the crew you never see. What they each do, and how people get those jobs.

Push. Show day. Bump-in, rehearsal, cues, the walk, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Then time for your questions.

This is about production, not creative direction.
Direction is the vision. Production is making it happen. Almost nobody teaches the second one.

Who it’s for?
Anyone curious about working behind the scenes in fashion events: students, stylists, creative assistants, event coordinators, designers planning a show, boutique owners thinking about in-store events, or people who’ve always wondered how it’s done. No experience needed.

When?
Friday, 20 November 2026
10:00 am AEST (Queensland time)
Times in other states: 11:00am NSW, Vic, ACT and Tas · 10:30am SA · 9:30am NT · 8:00am WA.

Can’t make it live? Register anyway and we’ll send you the replay.

Dm RUNWAY and I’ll send you the link to register or jump in my bio.

Fashion takes me to so many beautiful places and I’m thrilled to be travelling once again to do what I’m great at.

I’m directing the fashion runway at Citrus Threads in Griffith, NSW on 17 October. And also lucky enough to be showcasing a painting from 18-23 at Citrus Threads Exhibition.

I’m officially 5 weeks out from show day and if you’ve been following me over the past few years, this moment right here is potent is is always my green light.

Keep following along.

Halo, saya Laras Andriyani.

From Bogor to Australia, and from Indonesia to the World. 🇮🇩✨

The founders who seem to make effortlessly right moves, the pivot at the perfect moment, the price rise that sticks, the pitch that lands, aren’t luckier. They’re better informed. They read their perception like an operator reads the numbers, and they decide from evidence while everyone else decides from hope.

Reading your own perception is genuinely hard, you’re the one person standing in the wrong spot to see it. But it can be read. And once it’s read, every strategic decision you make gets sharper, because it’s finally calibrated to the market that actually exists.

Stop guessing. Start reading.

Final call for founders to step into Founder Advisory, as start 02 August ✨ a six-month strategic advisory designed for founders who want more than accountability or coaching. It provides a dedicated space to think strategically, interpret what is happening in the market, and make better decisions about how they are recognised.

Treat this month’s inquiries, mentions and introductions as data. Then notice the catch: you’re reading your own reflection. Perception is the one dataset a founder can’t analyse about herself.
