Our sweet girl has been with us for almost 2 months. It’s still surreal looking at her and thinking what the great psalmist, King David said, “Who is man that you are mindful of him?…” Our Creator with tender eyes & infinite love has her on His mind. What comfort !

after six wonderful years at Odessa, I MOVED into the new place that will be the beginning of the life together with my favorite wonderful man. 💎 thank you to the village of people who helped move in the heat and did it with so much joy! 🤩 Max said to me after the move that he had never experienced a group of people so willing and eager to serve in the mundane not out of obligation but actively looking to help in any way they could and did it with so much joy. Ajarn Anusan, his wife P’Lee, and their daughter Mona took a chunk of their time visiting from Thailand to help and the highlight was when Ajarn Anusan prayed a prayer of blessing over our future home together. hearing him pray in Thai brought a wave of memories of hearing him pray when I was a child countless number of times. so grateful!!!

goooooodbye sweet odessa ! thank you for the 6 beautiful years of the worst but mostly the best of times! @melodyhseale, @chadseale75 & I packed the house FULL of people and put the poor AC through so much hard work. the countless number of corgi puppies born and the lingering odor of afterbirth to the various verbal debates and crazy ideas born here. in honor of you, here are out of context videos for the amusement of those who have enjoyed this home and a glimpse into the life and adventure and laughter this home held! except for the goldfish I fed my pet praying mantis. this video is still one of my most prized earthly possessions RIP gold fish…

Music is what I do! I’ve built my life around it. This industry is not very forgiving but I’m so fortunate to support my family doing something I love. I thank God every day for this blessing. I have big plans for lots of content in the coming months! I’ll be performing locally/regionally a good bit and I have some open dates if you are interested in having me for a private event or house concert, or a venue for both solo and band performances . When our team first heard this song, the room lit up. Everyone knew it would be perfect for the Christmas Eve service. I liked it too, but I held back my excitement (a tad) because I knew I would be the one singing it.

After some of the energy settled, I admitted my hesitation. I told the team I do not sing like @michaelbethanyofficial, and the arrangement felt more complex than what I usually take on.

They listened, then laughed, not in a mocking kind of way, but in a way that said, “We know you can do this.”

They saw something in me that I was not seeing. Their confidence gave me the courage to try. Once I started practicing, I realized I could not sing it like the original, but with a few adjustments I found an approach that still carried the same impact.

Looking back, it feels a little funny that I hesitated. But that is the value of having people around you who believe in you and push you past your comfort zone.

Thank you @erick_sostre, @zeke.alc, @jujula4ever, @mygirlfabs, and @liam.the.mac for the healthy push. I am better because of it.

Leaders, don’t be afraid to be led or vulnerable. It’ll be worth it.

In your 30s one of your best friends will try and convince you to dip to the ultimate nerd level and start an all girl D&D group (shout out @liam.the.mac for dealing with our insanity) - and it’s VERY important you do it.
