From the CFL All-Decade Team to Morning Show on Radio - Meet Eddie Steele From winning the Grey Cup to being named to the CFL All-Decade Team, and from professional football to co-hosting a morning radio show, Eddie Steele’s journey is one of COURage, growth, and purpose! Eddie Steele will be sharing his COURageous story on Fireside with Mayowa on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Ledcor Theatre, Art Gallery of Alberta, Edmonton. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Eddie attended the University of Manitoba on a football scholarship, where he helped win the 2007 Vanier Cup. After moving his family back to Edmonton from Regina, Eddie began working as a full-time sales representative with Share Canada. He has since continued to make an impact in the community, serving on various organizational boards and exploring different media ventures. His contributions to Canadian football have also earned him significant recognition, including selection to the CFL All-Decade Team for the 2010s and the Edmonton Eskimos All-Decade Team for the 2010s. Yet, beyond the accolades, awards, and professional accomplishments, Eddie holds one responsibility above everything else: being a loving husband and father.
