Felt a little run down, probably the out come of traveling, a new environment and new stresses. Decided to have a rest and recover day.

With Round 1 in the bag, it was time for Round 2… and boy, what a round it was! 🤘

Up first is Problem 3. Although it might be one of the lower-numbered, easier climbs, I have to admit I really enjoyed this one for its out-of-the-box thinking… pardon the pun! 🤣

It’s not every day you get a climb that doesn’t just require you to follow the conventional way up, but instead makes you think a little outside the box. It’s a great reminder that climbing is all about having fun, trying different things, and enjoying the process! 🧗‍♂️

First half marathon in the bag. It may not have gone to plan. However, I finished within cut off time and managed to hit a lot of new of records on strava. Onto the next race and the build up for two oceans half next year! ps: my cap broke due to all of the wind. So any new cap suggestions would be great thanks :). #raceday #vlog #halfmarathoner #runningjourney #enjoyinglife

TIA '26 🥇

We went to win, and that's exactly what we did. 🏆

This comp was everything I needed after Nationals. A chance to relax, have fun without the pressure, and just climb my heart out! ❤️

A massive thank you to @friendsandallies_climb for hosting and organising such an incredible event, @surefooted_photography for capturing the moments, @ferdinand.weich for the teamwork, and every single supporter who cheered their hearts out. You all made it that much more special! ❤️‍🔥

Caught braiding my hair in preparation for a lekker Lion's Head run (and power hike I will be honest)...

I will need a lot more preparation than just braiding my hair for the 14th of March 2027 when the Calling Cape Town Challenge takes place! @callingcapetown

The Challenge consists of an 8km Robben Island Swim, 109km Cape Town Cycle Tour and 50km run up Devil's Peak, Table Mountain and Lion's Head. LUCKILY I am not doing the whole thing... but joining a relay team... PHEW... I will be doing *just* the run 🫠

Why? To raise funds for education through Calling Education, creating opportunities for young people from low-income communities to be equipped with high-quality education.

If you feel to contribute, follow the link below... or reach out to me for more details. Super duper thanks!

Pov: you get to run your first half marathon with your bestie @mienke_nel ⭐️

Wie sou nou kon dink ’n vinnige naweek in George sou ook my eerste halfmarathon insluit! 21.4km saam met my bestie, die lekkerste naweek en sommer ’n goeie verskoning om Pretoria vir ’n paar dae te verruil vir die Kaap.

Definitief ‘n kuiertjie om te koester 🧡

What’s next? @mienke_nel

Weekend racing results.

It was again a great weekend of racing at the @princegeorge100miler . @janwithaarxcr not only taking the win, but he defended his title from last year making it 2 in a row.

@keagan_bontekoning also with a strong ride. Taking the KOM at the top of Swartberg, unfortunately luck was not on his side, getting a flat that cost him time. Fighting the odds, leaving everything out there and in the end he managed to ride his way into 3rd place.

Well doen, Jan and Keagan.

Yesterday @daniellev_dt lined up for the @durbie_dash

Lining up for the 86km gravel race. Overnight rain made for a wet and cold race, turning the gravel roads into slippery mud and deep ruts. Racing was fast no matter the weather conditions.

@daniellev_dt with a strong race taking 2nd place.

Well done, Danielle.
