Happy Father’s Day to our second father, Sir Noli! @nol.ig.abilo 🚴‍♂️📸

Thank you for always supporting our crazy adventures—from conquering the highest peaks of different provinces, completing 360° loops around provinces and islands, to bikepacking adventures in the middle of the night.

Beyond the rides and destinations, thank you for patiently documenting our journeys and preserving the memories that we will cherish for years to come. We are also grateful for your patience, understanding, and generosity in sharing your knowledge—not only about photography but also about life.

Many people see the adventures, but few know the person working behind the scenes to make them memorable. You have been our mentor, guide, photographer, and constant supporter through every challenge and every finish line.

Thank you for being the man behind all our adventures.

Happy Father’s Day, Sir Noli! Wishing you good health, more rides, more stories, and more adventures with us. 🚴‍♂️

One more ride, one last tambike with my cycling spirit animal and brother for long-time, @jaydalknows. It’s been a pleasure sharing the road, sharing this cycling advocacy, and just sharing the best vibes with you.

As always, with our pambansang storyteller himself, @bujibabiera, it was a fun nostalgia ride around Manila. Vibes always on point with these two real ones.

Still can’t believe we’re saying goodbye for now but we both, Buji & I, and all of us here, are excited for your next chapter in Barca with @mariand.d 🫶🏽

Bon voyage, brother! I’ll see you there and we’ll ride around the bike-friendly streets of Barcelona soon!

One more time for the road,
Can I get a, Hoooyaaaaah!

Big love,
Everyday Cyclist ❤️

Day 5: Recovery Day

After successfully completing our 341-kilometer Bohol Loop, we slowed things down and dedicated the day to recovery and exploration.

From breakfast in Tagbilaran, we headed to Loboc to visit the Giant Virgin Mary Statue and experience the famous Loboc River Cruise. We also revisited some of Bohol’s most iconic landmarks, including Baclayon Church and the Man-Made Forest.

One of the highlights of the day was meeting a fellow Yellow Boat Foundation implementer and the woman behind Dalareich Chocolate House, the first chocolate factory in Bohol. It was inspiring to hear her story and learn how she helped put Bohol-made chocolates on the map.

Day 4: Tubigon to Dauis – Bohol 360 Loop Completed 🚴‍♂️

After our midnight arrival in Tubigon, we took a slower start to allow everyone to recover. From Tubigon, we passed through Calape, Loon, Maribojoc, Tagbilaran, and Panglao before finally returning to Dauis Church, completing our Bohol 360 Loop.

Loon was a meaningful stop for me as it brought back memories of our mission work after the 2013 Bohol earthquake. We also enjoyed the beautiful Maribojoc Firefly Watching experience before celebrating with dinner in Panglao.

Four days, countless memories, heritage churches, scenic views, night rides, and of course, our friendly dog encounters. 😅

Grateful to complete this journey with the team. Bohol truly lived up to its reputation as a laid-back province filled with culture, history, and natural beauty.

Bohol 360 Loop – Day 3: Anda to Tubigon

Before leaving Anda, we made sure to savor one last glimpse of its pristine white-sand beaches. It was the perfect way to start another long day on the road as we continued our journey around the beautiful province of Bohol.

Our cultural exploration continued with a visit to the historic Anda Church, known for its beautiful murals and rich heritage. Our route took us through Candijay, Alicia, Ubay, Trinidad, Talibon, Getafe, Buenavista, Inabanga, and Clarin before finally reaching Tubigon close to midnight. One of the highlights of the day was climbing up to Baby Dam in Alicia and visiting the municipality famous for the breathtaking views of Panoramic Park. We were also blessed with the opportunity to meet Patrick Daniel Parcon in Talibon, making the journey even more memorable.

Not everything went according to plan, though. The province’s unofficial cycling marshals—the dogs—made their presence felt once again. We narrowly avoided getting bitten by one and had two memorable chase encounters that definitely helped increase our speed for a few kilometers. Thankfully, everyone stayed safe and in good spirits.

By the end of Day 3, we had already covered approximately 220–230 kilometers and explored 10 new municipalities. The long hours on the saddle, the unexpected encounters, the heritage churches, and the incredible landscapes all reminded us that the best adventures are often found off the beaten path

Bohol 360 Loop – Day 1 (Part 2)

One of the things I love about cycling in the province is the freedom to ride at almost any time of the day—even at night. The roads are generally quieter, the air is cooler, and the surroundings feel more peaceful compared to the busy city streets.

Of course, riding at night comes with its own challenges. Proper lights, reflective gear, and extra caution are always a must. And then there are the unofficial pacing partners of the countryside—the dogs. 🐕😂

Bohol 360 Loop – Day 1: Dauis to Anda

We started our journey early in the morning with breakfast in Dauis before officially kicking off our Bohol 360 Loop at the historic Dauis Church.

Today’s ride was a journey through history, culture, and coastal landscapes as we passed through some of Bohol’s oldest communities and heritage churches. Our route took us from Dauis – Tagbilaran City – Baclayon – Albuquerque – Loay – Dimiao – Valencia – Garcia Hernandez – Duero – Jagna, before reaching our destination for the day, Anda.

In total, we covered 95 kilometers, traversing 9 municipalities and 1 city.

One of the highlights of the day was our visit to a local panday in Loay, where we had the opportunity to learn about the traditional craft of blacksmithing and witness firsthand the skill and dedication that have kept this trade alive through generations.

As the sun began to set, we arrived in Anda, a laid-back coastal town famous for its pristine white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters.

Day 0 - Bohol 360 Loop

It has always been my dream to complete a Philippine Loop, but for now, that dream will have to take a temporary pause due to time constraints and other priorities.

Instead of conquering the entire Philippines in one journey, we’ll take it one island, one province, and one loop at a time. The goal is not just to ride the roads, but to discover the routes, experience the culture, meet the people, and enjoy the local food that make each place unique.

With the support of my cycling friends and Sir @nol.ig.abilo Noli, we will make this vision happen. More importantly, every loop we complete will have a purpose—we will dedicate our rides to giving back by supporting @penciltreks Black Pencil Projects.

Our journey begins in the beautiful province of Bohol, where we will take on a full 360° loop around this laid-back island paradise. One province at a time, one meaningful ride at a time.

4 years later, the dream ride has been accomplished once again — One Shot Ride to Baguio. 🚴‍♂️⛰️

This time, a little different. We rode mostly through the night until sunrise, using the cold breeze and quiet roads to shield ourselves from the intense heat of the day.

Started from San Pedro, Laguna and met up with JP as we rolled through the long stretch of National Highway — passing Metro Manila (Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Taguig, Makati, Manila, Navotas, Malabon, Valenzuela) before crossing the provinces of Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, La Union, and finally Benguet all the way to Baguio City.

Honestly had little expectations coming into this ride since we barely had time for long rides over the past few months. But somehow, with no support team, no backup vehicle, and no shortcuts — we still made it. Just pure determination, grit, faith, and trust in each other.

The climbs were brutal, the nights were long, and the body was constantly questioning every pedal stroke. But moments like this remind you why you ride in the first place.

Been missing this feeling for quite awhile.
It feels good to be back. 💛
