project urak introducing the incredible Rubber band boys :))) when i moved to goa for my grad project internship at Wunderhaus, Kedar sir wasted no time in introducing us to the music, the goan artists, the food and the quirky drinks. there was a time when we’d only listen to konkani music in the studio and fridays were reserved for konkani thali at the local restaurant. all of this eventually led me, a vegetarian to a seafood restaurant where i met the coolest rubber band boys. what started as an idea to collaborate was turned into this magnanimous thing by Madhavan Palanisamy sir. like all good things in life, this project took sometime to come to life and i’m incredibly grateful to be a part of it. film by Madhavan Palanisamy @madhavan.palanisamy edited by dritiwadwa titles by Karthiknathan Sowbaghyanathan @karthiknathansowbaghyanathan handwoven clothes by @wunderhaus.handmade styled by me! project assistant - kruthi/@stringsandunicorns (quite literally the reason I was even in Goa for this shoot - i went back to goa for this shoot <3) sharing with you all a small piece of the world I want to live in :) i hope you enjoy it as much as we did filming it :))

📍for @bluestone_jewellery trunk show in Hyderabad, direction by yours truly, visuals by @anotherayush and i, and jewellery rendering by Sandeep Saini. these are some of the many creatives we managed to pull off within a very short span of time. as a brand that values design and detail, it was only natural we were drawn to the architecture and history of Hyderabad, where every corner feels like poetry. the idea was to blend the timeless charm of Hyderabad w the contemporary designs of BlueStone. inspired by Tanjore paintings, created w AI (without jewellery render), I am still finding my stance with AI

For @roukabysreejithjeevan Sakhi, an ode to femininity. Embracing the essence of sisterhood and solidarity. Sakhi is a radiant symbol of hope, urging women to unite in strength against a lie that has been long disguised as truth to deceive generations of young men and women to believe ones superiority over the other. Women spend an entire lifetime living and fighting against an unjust system that was designed to deny them the luxury of choice. They spend a lifetime fighting the society, their families, themselves to accept, embrace and celebrate their bodies, minds and their souls. Sakhi is a call of action, Sakhi is a celebration of sisterhood and solidarity, it dreams of a tribe bigger and stronger, standing shoulder to shoulder for what may come.. Inspired from Raja Ravi Verma paintings that challenged conventional artistic representations by depicting women with a sense of agency, individuality, and emotion. Adorned with flowers in their hair, symbolising the gentleness and compassion inherent in women along with bangles resembling armor like strength, a stark contrast to the derogatory remark often made by men towards other men, insinuating weakness with the phrase “haath mein chudiya pehena hai?” meaning “are you wearing bangles?” Implying incapacity.
