“I don’t count my sit-ups. I only start counting when it starts hurting—because those are the only ones that count.”
— Muhammad Ali

Comfort builds maintenance.
Discomfort builds growth.

You don’t live at failure—but you visit it often enough to know where the edge is. That’s how the next level is built.

Train with intention. Push with purpose.
DM CHANGE if you’re ready to level up.

Nothing changes until something changes.

On the left: 27 years old. Years of active drug addiction—marked by paranoia, psychosis, depression, anger, and malnutrition—slowly pushing me toward an early grave.

On the right: 35 years old. Eight years of consistent training, four to five days per week. A structured, intentional approach to nutrition. And above all, a daily practice of gratitude—thanking God for the life I’ve been given.

Not everything in my mind magically changed. The pain, fear, and negative self-talk still surface. But the lifestyle I live now keeps those thoughts from taking control. It keeps the lies from taking root and pulling me back toward destruction.

Freedom doesn’t come from wishing things were different. It comes from living like the person you want to become. If you want to be an athlete, you must train like one. If you want to be a writer, you must write. If you want joy, begin by practicing gratitude for what you already have.

If you’re ready to change your lifestyle—and in doing so, change your life—send me a DM with the word CHANGE.
