Not much to say here, except that I was supposed to run a little more last week… but my body had other plans 😌

So instead of pushing through, I made the conscious decision to take a step back and give my body some more rest…

And honestly? I’m still pretty scared of getting injured again. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past few years, it’s to listen when my body starts sending warning signals 🥸

Now, I know some people believe in pushing through the pain, and I get that. But at this stage, I simply can’t afford another 5–6 months of rehab 😩

So, slow & controlled it is. I’d rather take a few days off now than be forced to take months off later.

And at the end of the day, I’m not getting paid to run fast, am I? 😉

Here’s to listening to our bodies, knowing when to push and, more importantly, when to pull back. 🫰🏼

Last week was all about slowing down... 🫶

Originally, I thought I’d take a full two weeks off running, but I quickly learned (thanks Coach @mikeobery 😂) that I can’t completely switch off just yet because, well… this girl is running the NY Marathon in less than two months LOL🗽🏃‍♀️

So instead, I focused on what my body needed most: sleep, recovery, fresh home-cooked meals after two weeks on the road, while slowly bringing back some easy running, mobility & yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️

Are 3D-printed shoes actually worth it… or just a gimmick?

I’ve tested a lot of shoes, and it takes a lot for me to be impressed - but these surprised me.

Just got back from my trip Paris where I was still training and walking 20K+ steps a day, so recovery matters just as much as the run. Lately, I’ve been reaching for the FITASY Stride 1.0 after my workouts, and my feet definitely feel the difference.

They’re not made for running—but for everything after? That’s where they shine.

Curious if you’d wear something like this??

April so far✨💕🌷☀️

People keep asking me whether I’ve settled into my life in London yet, and honestly, no. I struggled in the first few months - it was like ground hog day, I left the apartment in the cold, wet and dark, I got back in the cold, wet and dark, I had no friends and work was slower then I was used to (all things I knew was going to happen btw). I now understand when people say London can be lonely, if it wasn’t for my job being sociable and my partner, I really would have felt it. Only now am I feeling like I’m slowly finding my way, my rhythm, my places, my routine and my people.

Just wanted to share some life reality because Instagram can look like rainbows and sunshine 🌈☀️

Still on the look out for mates who like food, like to move and like a cocktail (or 2)🥰 Does bumble have one for finding mates?
